I use the prayers of many saintly nuns. “Jesus, Mary, I love you,save souls.” Also My Jesus, Mercy. Then I tell Jesus about my faults and ask for His help. This takes me awhile because I also stop to express my love to the Most Holy Trinity.I speak to each Divine Person separetly. My heart fills up and my tears flow because I truly desire Heaven and I’m sorry for hurting God. I hope this helps someone.God bless you all and the wonderful Priests whose sermons inspire so many people.

Perfect prayer for the 3:00 hour. Jesus told Faustina He wanted prayers for the conversion of sinners at that time. This one,prayed by all doing the Novena, will assist our Lord in this cause. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is amazing. But, He did not ask for that at 3:00. You can l99k it up. ❤

First six possible obstacles to the sanctifying power of Holy Communion:
- mortal sin
- deliverate venial sin
- lack of generosity embracing the crosses God sent to us
- lack of bodily mortification
- lack of interior mortification
- lack of spiritual reading

it seems tragic to me as coming to my mortal end it appears the end also to the beautiful faith I started with

Mental prayer is from you to God. You engage God in a conversation like a child talk to his father. Meditation is from God to you. Reading for instance a passage of the gospel and seeing how God acted and how we can try to imitate him. As we grow in our relationship thru these two forms of prayer, our prayer tends to simplify. The long sentences we form in our mind as beginners tend to disappear to let a simple gaze or a deep silent awareness of His presence do what words would only express imperfectly.
I get confused with the definitions of mental prayer, meditation, contemplation, xcetera

Remember your a super gifted preacher if it gets hard doling out truth. Would the Rosary and Chaplets be considered mental prayer? Or the Divine office + T. H. S. O. Mass? I started opening my heart again to God sometimes during these prescribed prayers or in front of the tabernacle or exposition. Just sharing and talking. I perceive Heaven is closer. Sometimes it’s harder to be your sinful self in front of Him rather say say Rx prayers

i read uniformity with God's will while i had an unhealthy guilt and scrutinization towards my faith. i had met jesus and he was personal but i lacked forgiveness for myself. It a good book now that i have learned to forgive myself and it is of so much more value now. If anyone struggles with excessive guilt for your sins or thinks the path to sainthood means to dig yourself into a pit. DO NOT READ THE BOOK. heal yourself from that wound first then read it
