Count me in! I buy canned roast beef and I stay away from the ones with gravy, so it's a pretty short list. I've had good luck with both Sam's Butterfield and Great Value, both in beef broth. Combined with a thing of stove top out in the backwoods it makes for a warm, hearty, filling meal, particularly once it's cold out.

Thanks for the run through. I don't care for canned beef but you've given me reason to add it to the pantry.
The small cans of tuna are half liquid and half meat. The cats and dogs get tuna water liquid, ack. I'd eat the canned beef liquid. On a budget and calories during SHTF times, the excess liquid might be a consideration. Of course, all or pretty much all (eew to sauerkraut, ymmv) liquids from meat/veg/fruit canned goods can be used.

    Norwegian watching here...
I've never bought Roast Beef in a can.
The fact is there's fairly little canned meat in Norway.
    Exept from "Chuck Ham".
Also most chefs frown at it...
As a former Deli Chef I've made a few tonnes of the stuff.
Using beef round, or beef flat.
(Flash frying in a BIG cast iron pan, then roasting in oven pans, until medium rare).
Ready made roast beef here is normally just sliced and eaten as cold cuts in sandwiches.
Or served as a Sunday Roast.
With vegetables like carrots, broccoli/green beans/petit pois, potatoes and gravy...
Plus lingonberry sauce ! They're a little more tart than cranberries. Scandinavians just can't live without this condiment. We eat it with most meats, black pudding, on top of brown cheese, as extra flavour to game sauce, and mixed with whipped cream, served as a dessert, topped with ginger snaps' crumble. (It's called "TROLL CREAM") !
    Love from Oslo Norway 😊❤

My Mom used to take the roast beef out of the gravy, shred it in a saucepan & add BBQ sauce! When hot she put it on hamburger buns for BBQ beef sammiches! YUMMY!!! 😋 During the summer when Dad took the Fam to the Drive-In, Mom made up those sammiches, wrap individually in foil & take em with!!! Lots of fond memories of those movies & yummy snacks! Still make them occasionally today & even use the same Open Pit BBQ sauce Mom used in Michigan! 😋 Give it a try for something quick & different! Hot day? BBQ sammich & Lay's potato chips, what a Great Combo!!! 😍🩷✌️

Brings back memories of my childhood. My father had passed away and my mother had a low paying job but we survived. We always had food but it was never fancy. Occasionally I did get to have something a bit special. My favorite was campbells scotch brand soup. My next favorite that I rarely got was canned sliced beef. I don't remember the name (it was in the 50's) but it was a shallow can with four or five slices of beef in gravy. I'd enjoy a slice one at a time in a sandwich. It was truly special to me back then and I made it last for days. I've always wondered if it still existed. A while back they did discontinue scotch broth. Likely because it was one of their most expensive soups and possibly not so popular any more.

The other can opener is a P51. Being a bit larger, it’s easier on one’s thumb and definitely provides more torque.
Personally, I’d be more worried about maltodextrin and added starch. Canned meat should have the meat, some water, and a bit of salt.

Count me in! I have only tried the beef from Sams but I was interested in comparing price vs quality in all of them. Very nice job of comparing.

Roast beef in a can is kinda expensive. I'd prefer chicken in a can.

This channel is the "project farm" of foods! Great video! Kroger (where I shop) has the lowest prices on the products but the Kroger brand products definitely are noticeably lower quality than the name brands. I have noticed this changing lately with name brands resorting to tricks like lots of gravy with very little product, or a very nice photo but using what's in the can NO WAY to make the product look like the photo!

Sorry, you are late, unless the winner doesn't contact me for the stoves.
      Stay tuned.

The larger brother of the p38 is the p51. It is much easier to use. Also I find the Butterfield from Sam's Club is dang good. Especially if you add it to some Dinty Moore canned beef stew.

Good video as always. Thanks, Les.
I won't be entering the drawing, as I'm sure others have more need for the stoves than I do. That being said, good luck to all who enter. 👍
