I stopped at that same BP in Front Royal before getting on Skyline Drive heading south, back in June. Stayed at Big Meadows campground for the first night. Hotels are the way to go in summer heat! Enjoying the series… 👍
Hey ladies, I just love to see female riders out and about - doing their thing. Those guys probably wished they could tag along. That's what I would be thinking. Have fun and enjoy. Cheyenne. American Legion Rider...
That's so cool... You guys went to the same Front Royal gas station, burger place, and even had the same park ranger at the Skyline Drive entrance gate that I did back in April 24 on my US road trip. I'l be back in the US in April 25 for another 3 month / 14,000 mile+ road trip. Cant wait!
@@jameshardy6277 wow lots of similarities in our travel of the BRP! I’d love to visit it again but I heard that some areas are going to be closed for years due to the hurricane. Maybe we can ride a tiny portion of your trip together if you are around GA and want company 👍.
@@Sowatha13 Yeah, I've been looking at the closure updates, keeping fingers crossed sections will be open by next Spring. For sure, I'll be uploading some pics and video from my 2024 trip.

Day 4 of four ladies riding! Gorgeous Miss Sowatha, Thank You for the great views again and a special Thanks for running and jumping for dinner. Well Queen is upset with me because I was still until your video ended then I displaced her to pick up the laptop. Spending a day in third gear means nothing escapes your vision or enjoyment. I would get upset with Rolling Thunder brothers that we had to chase down to get them to slow down especially during funeral processions. Having ridden a long time on several different bikes the speed bug has never really caught me, I prefer to enjoy my rides and not rush through. For that reason I will never own a 6 speed HD because I would never need to go over 65 which is right where that transmission would begin 6th gear. Call me old fashioned, I don't care I love my 4 speed older bikes. Even now at 2am your smile is infectious and a joy to see. I know you have been at home now for some time and I am praying none of the storms/ hurricanes have effected you or your loved ones, my prayers and best wishes for all who have lost from the storm. I am disappointed to hear you say,it's taking forever! Not only is it the destination but more often times it's the journey there, and back that makes the trip! I've been interested in the tiger 1200 and I currently ride an ultra classic so I'm curious to see how you feel about it after this journeys completed...
I’m always preaching “it’s the journey, not the destination”, but you are getting into 8-9 hours of riding and your back and hands are aching and you are hungry ( I’m always hungry by the way), it makes the journey not as enjoyable. Also, as it was getting late, the temperature dropped and I was getting colder. Having said that, you are right, it’s the journey that matters 🤗 I absolutely love the Tiger. It’s my second one. Denise’s husband purchased a Tiger as well when we were on the road and now Denise wants to buy one too. I met a rider in the BRP on a 1200 and said he loved it, did some unplanned off-road and it handled very well.
I thought you women acted rude to that man in the hotel parking lot. It appeared that all of you were ignoring him. Leads me to believe that you maybe don’t like men. Considering unsubscribing.
@@capthook8066 that’s a first…how were we rude??? I spoke to him as soon as he spoke to me and checked out his bike. The insta360 camera captures views that we don’t have. I don’t have eyes behind my back like the camera. From the recording he walked up while we were packing and getting ready to leave, just admiring and not saying anything. When he asked us questions, we answered him, then Denise distracted me with her helmet issues and he walked away. I didn’t even see him leave 🤷♀️ We did not ignore him. Sorry you feel that way.
