I finally made a beat in 10 minutes! I don't remember the last time I did this, but I broke out the OP-1, Modal Skulpt, and SP404 and made a glitchy spooky beat in the allotted ten minutes. I used some custom made patches on the Skulpt and recorded them directly into the Teenage Engineering OP-1 and glitched everything out while performing the beat on the SP404.

Haha it's actually an under the desk cable management rack that I flipped upside down. I added some adhesive velcro to the bottom of the Keystep to help hold it up and it works pretty well! This is the one I'm using: amzn.to/3fLlRr7

Hi! Nice performance, I have an OP1 and a sp404 and I m struggling how to connect them, may i ask you how you hook up your OP1 with other gear? Thx!
Thanks! Right now I have my line out from op-1 hooked into the 1/4 mic jack on the SP404. I have the rest of my stuff flowing into the inout on my OP-1. This allows me to sample stuff on both devices.

How did you made these strange synth sounds on the op1 in the Jo-Jo type video?

Can I just connect OP-1 to Skulpt directly without MIDI keyboard like keystep?
You don’t need the keystep. But to connect the two directly you will need either a USB midi host or to configure your midi via a computer/DAW to make sure they’re talking.

What preset did you user for the bass on that beat?
I used the FM synth and created it a while back. The name in the Snapshot folder is 20191017 1724 haha
