Hey guys and welcome back, today Im going to show you how you can create your own Glass holograms in this new Series called Project Smart Glass. So, in this series we are not only going to just be creating these really cool holograms [Demo video butterfly] but we’re also going to try and fuse Artificial intelligence and computer vision into the mix to create some really cool applications.
Why?
So Ritz why are you doing this, can’t you just do your normal Vuforia tutorial hmm? - Umm how about noo.... :P
So, I want to try something a bit different, something that has not been done quite that often. I want to test what would happen, if we lived in a world where transparent displays were a reality. What would we do with these glass displays and how would they be different from the devices we have today? What type of experiences would DIY transparent displays allow as we approach the future?
So currently, transparent screens do exist in a form of transparent OLED TV’s from LG, but those are waaay too expensive for us to experiment with. There are currently transparent LCD’s, but their reflectance values are way to high that you end up with a really dark view. After doing a lot of web prowling, I’v concluded that the best and cheapest way to enable this experience is by means of a projector and transparent projector film.
So let me show you how to make a DIY hologram projector on Glass.

It's a really fantastic phase 1 of the hologram project.
Thank you Nitin 😀. Phase 2 will be coming sometime next week.
Cheers, Looking forward to this! Great Tutorials
Thanks Sahaj 😁
Great video bro but you should change your thumbnail to something cool and satisfying to get views
It's a great start willing to learn more 😀
Definitely! Thanks for your support Veminos 😀
Very interesting stuff, would love to learn more
Thanks bud 😋. It going to get a whole lot more interested soon.
Great info- thanks!
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😁. What would you like to see next?
Great work! I'm toying with the same concept
Would like to see your demos :)
can you make a video about microsoft holo lence
Excellent !! When can we expect the whole tutorial on your website ?
It will be available in less than a month the from now. If you subscribe to the link above. You will be notified as soon as its available
So cool
Thanks man 😁🤟
Learn alot and you make it easy to understand, but i have a question. Do you use the same color film if your wall is painted black or brown or it doesn't matter what color your film is or the color of the wall you are placing the glass with the film on it
It doesn't matter what color, only the tint. The color will just distort your projected color
My goal is to project a hologram onto a large antique mirror hanging on a wall, above a table. I'll study your tutorial but would like to know if you have any recommendations about achieving this. Want spooky, efferial ghosts in this 54" x 45" Victorian mirror. Table beneath is 36x24 for equipment setup. Is this tutorial the way to go? Please advise.....Thanks so much!...Patteee!
Just wondering where the brackets for the glass mounting were sourced?
It's held at the bottom with magnets 😎
Super I am interested to learn
Great 😎 👍 more glass hologram projects coming soon
What's the largest practical glass/film surface area you'd recommend for someone planning on following this tutorial?
You can go up to about 55 inches. It depends on the projector. But remember that the larger you go the darker the display is going to be. But if you have a powerful projector then it's fine to go large. The projector I have only has 350 lumuns so it's not that bright in comparison to proper movie projectors
Nice
Thanks Kishan
Where Buy the holofilm
Good
Thank you Sachin Shah :). I am really glad you enjoyed the video. If you have anything that you want me to make a video about, just use the hashtag #augmentedstartups with your comment and I'll see what I can do.

I look forward to seeing you around! 👊
Is this course will be free at youtube?
Where can this be used
nice bro
Thanks Antareep :D
anyone have any ideas how to make an anti hologram glasses? how one can look at a hologram and know its fake?
The video actually starts at 4:17
Your welcome
Is it a pyramid hologram? 🤔
Nope, not a pyramid hologram, In this Phase and the next, we are going to build a parallax hologram on a glass display. :)
Eagar to see this as I did pyramid one and won tge first prize at engineering clg for best innovative idea !!
Watching 21.k but likes only 403
😭😭😭😭😭
I don't know but I don't believe you. And i want yo believed Your but Your courses at udemy have poor ratinh. In the yolo and mask rcnn courses, do you really teach how to build and train models for custom object detection in just 2 hours from scratch?
Those couses seems fake
Thanks for your question. We are aware of those ratings and we are in the process of using the user feedback to improve the course. But you are welcome to explore the course and refund it within 30 days if you are not interested. We show you how to train a network using a platform called supervisely for custom models.
@@Augmented_AI excuse me sir. but people complain because you use supervisely. Why not use google colab ?. what is the difference between those two platforms?
Yeah I realised that, and for that reason. I want to train it natively on the PC instead of using supervisely. Colab is a development platform from which is able to run python code for ML and DL applications. Supervisely is only used for training the network, you can run the model like you can with colab.
