Good tip to put the lime or lemon juice in the pot with the ground provisions to keep the yam from "turning colour". Never saw that before................

In case you get caught w itching skin, use a lime to area -when it dries itching will stop but my daughter also added this:wash the area w crusader soap(uk brand) or tea tree oil castile soap (good on so many levels) or simply use the tea tree oil w your bath water rinse w soap or use your soap and rub your skin down w tea tree oil n a carrier oil (,avocado, coconut, evoo) after your bath !

I'm looking on Ubereats to get food delivery during my lockdown. There are lots of attractive Jamaican restaurants here in south Florida. While I've had curried goat again and again, and oxtails and jerk chicken again and again, I saw these side dishes, dumplings and yams in the ubereats menus--and I wondered, what the hell are these? It turns out I've eaten them, but I was never really aware, so I googled you. What a helpful and nice lesson. Thanks.
