Thank you for a very informative and helpful video. I have just bought a 2007 Kia minivan. As yet I have no troubles with it, but I see a lot on you tube, so I want to be prepared. I bought the van so that I can transport my mobility scooter when we need to go shopping. Your video will have me prepared. Thanks again. Ed
I just bought a 2007 Sedona and the ESC off light just came on this morning. The acceleration seems normal, maybe slightly more sluggish? Hard to tell because I am on low speed local roads.I haven't gotten it inspected yet,I am hoping to do so in a couple days. Any advice on diagnosing the issue? Is it likely to be the throttle body sensor?
I have a 2008 Kia Sedona the ESC off light is on I have a check engine light on. I get no traction the tires constantly break loose. Should I be replacing any of these switches please let me know which one I should be looking at?
typically a dealership is the best place to get it. They are aware that the throttle body is a malfunctioning part in most (if not all models) of KIAS. They sold us ours for $2.75
Hello, great Video, thanks for make it. I just want to make sure I am on the same issue before replace the part. I also have a Kia Sedona 2006, having this issue like 2 months ago, ABS, ESC-off and Check engine lights come to the dash, sometimes intermittent and when that happen most of times the vehicle shuts off, sometimes when I try to start it again the transmission goes to a default mode and stay stock on 3rd gear. I have to shut it off again, wait a couple of minutes and start it again, when I scan it, I just see the output sensor codes. I already replace it and nothing happens. Please let me know if this could resolve the problem and also let me know where can I get the part. Thanks.
Jonathan Bohorquez didn't you figure out what is wrong with with transmission with everything you describe in the past post? I have same thing with my 06
Did you use part # 35107-3E100NFFF or 35107-3C100NFFF? I have seen both listed and do not know which to order. Thanks to your video I have mine off and it looks just like yours.
Hello ,my kia sorento has this problem. The ESC light on and no power at take off. My question is the throttle Position Sensor, whats the ESC has to do with it. I like how mello you are with trying to pass info. Thank you .
Hi, I have a Kia Sedona 2012, my mechanic put a Zeus scanner to do a diagnostico but don't find nothing. That vehicule when you go at 30 or 49 miles the pedal of acelerator do not apply . You remove your feet for a second and put again and continue normal. Somebody can tell me what's wrong?
Jj Slater i replaced the whole throttle unit and worked perfect. It was quicker to obtain the whole unit for me. The tps by itself is harder to find. Oreillys had the whole unit in stock so i went with it.
Jj Slater it had that esc light or whatever the letter are but also had check engine light with codes related to throttle. The van died and was in limp mode. It would start up but it would die cause there was no air mixing with the fuel. There was no response when gas pedal was pressed. U might want to clean the throttle body cause it does build up gunk maybe causing the butterfly to not open and close properly. Do you have the check engine light on?
Jj Slater clean the throttle and also check the tube that connects from the air box to throttle. I replaced mine awhile back cause there was a rip in it that was not visible till i took it apart.
I don't know why they told you that. maybe they're just trying to get more money out of you. that sensor does not have to be programmed or anything after you install it and yes my codes did go away and everything was fine after I changed it. I haven't had any problems since.

Based on what I've been able to find, the first part# is just the TPS with the new O-ring, the second adds replacement screws to that.

bigabescanal did your car idle up and down and throw a check engine light?

i have the same car problem and they told me at the kia dealership that the sensor has to be program to work.
What about the ESC sensor?!

Where is the MAP sensor location on Kia Sedona 2003?
Attached to the outside front of the air filter box
