The Mighty Slioch - munro no 34

- On this adventure I took on the mighty Slioch. I definitely underestimated this beast of a mountain. It took me longer than I expected due to navigational error which I rectified. Plus my hill fitness has slipped away. But I persevered and got the job done. Despite taking longer than I thought and never got views at the top. I still enjoyed myself and would do it again for the views. Hope you all enjoy my adventure.
Remember always prepare before going yourself. Tell plenty people where you are going. Study your route and take a map and compass. Always take your time and have fun. Also make sure you have power banks before you go.

Thanks Stevie mate. Really appreciate an amazing comment. Yea i thought the running would of helped but obviously not lol. Ended up pulling a muscle at the end of the walk. That's me recovered now. Going out for a run tomorrow.
Hi Alan still to do this one , missed you by a day me and the guys were parked up there friday to sunday. Great to see you out on the munro trail again mate a stunning place up there can't get enough of it . ATB ALLY 👍
Cheers mate. It was great to be out again. Finding it harder to get out these days. Yea I seen on Tams Facebook yous were out. I didn't even know it was the same car park lol. Can't wait to get back out again.
Cheers for watching.
Can't believe we missed you by a day. Would have been great to meet you,
Great Hike up the Slioch, pity about the clag, the views would have been amazing 👏.
Good job atb Tam
Thanks Tam mate. Really appreciate it.
Fantastic mate, well done! Just a shame about the weather eh? It will be cracking up there on a nice day. The running will help your aerobic base massively and will really help on these ascents. Great watch! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much mate. I definitely want to get back up their for the views. I feel already the running is helping with my hiking. Having a day of rest today. Legs are tiring today. Back out tomorrow morning. Dropping the wife off at work then going along the canal path. Thanks for watching
Nice one Alan. I have still to do the mighty Slioch and in hope I get a good day for it. One to look forward too. Cheers and ATB. Andrew 👍
Cheers mate. I hope you get the views.
Great video Alan, shame you didn't get the views. We've been wanting to do Slioch for a while. Had a week up there in Gairloch last October and had planned to do it by paddleboarding across the Loch hence cutting out the long walk in and out. But the week before I got Covid so had no energy when we were there. So we just did a paddleboard day on Loch Maree which was still amazing! Well done on number 34.
Thanks very much for watching. Hope you get a good day for it when you eventually get their. I definitely want to return for the views. But want to concentrate on getting fitter and bagging new munros.

I hope you continue to be successful🌹🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤❤❤❤like👍16
Thanks very much for your kind words. Really appreciate it.
Nice one Alan. Not sure how i missed this one? Its a long walk in along the Loch that one before you even start climbing. Shame about the views from the top. Frank and I did this one, we ended going up the ridge on the right and coming round and down. It was a longer, harder way to do it!! I think i might have to get some Beluga in one of my videos 😁. Well done. ATB Andy
Thanks Andy mate. I definitely want to do this one again one day for the views. Can't beat a bit of Beluga.
Thanks for watching.

It was amazing mate. It was roughly a 3 mile walk in before the start of the acsent but it was nice walk. Need to try and do a hill a week to keep my hill fitness up. Thanks for watching.
