- In this new season of From the Ground Up, 2018 NASCAR champion Joey Logano joins us to
build a 1935 Factory Five Hot Rod Truck - but this isn’t your standard hot rod build. A tube
frame chassis coupled to one of Joey’s 800HP round-winning Ford cup motors
means outrageous amounts of power in a stiff, lightweight and reliable platform.

Bravo *Snap-on Tools* I remember the Snap-on truck showing up at the shop in the early 70ies. Couldn't afford the tools then still can't.
@MrRebar15 you could afford Snap-on in the 70’s, you didn’t want to spend the money. Understandable. If you really meant you couldn’t afford Snap-on it either means you were underplayed as an employee or didn’t do quality enough work to get a higher rate. So you were a mechanic in the early 70’s? You mean to say you are still a mechanic and still can’t afford Snap-on? So let’s say you were 20 years old in 1975. You made the comment in 2000. So you are 60 ish now and have been a mechanic 45 years? What exactly do you do as a mechanic?

The Snap-On Half inch drive impact has always been my favorite! Get's anything and everything on or off!
This is my first time watching a Snap-on From the Ground Up episode, and I got to say that is an awesome truck! Everything from the custom roll cage chassis, to the engine, it's insane! I love it.
The drift pickup is super RAD. Its definitely my fav thus far.
Without question, my favorite factory five car is the 33 coupe/roadster.
What a beautifully engineered piece of work.
The Snap-On swivel rachet wrench is awesome, definitely a favorite!
That is hands-down the most wicked truck I've ever seen! The Snap On indexable ratchet would be an awesome addition to my Snap On collection!
What a great build! A cup motor, Sequential shifter and AC. Love it!
Also loved the Snap-on indexable ratchet. That is one cool tool.
Snap on tools and Factory Five...what a combo...and being OLD and Old school love that drift truck
All the details that go in to the build is sick not a stepped missed. They do some great work.
This is by far my favorite Snap-On build so far with that motor/trans combo.
35 Drift Truck!!! Love the ground up videos. Thank you.
Must be nice to have deep pockets!
He worked his ass off for it. He’s earned his lifestyle.
Deep pockets? This is pure snap-on advertising budget.
I expected to see some building, this is assembling!
That's how these guys roll, buy it in from specialist companies. Hi spec gear though.
Great to see so many talented guys puttin this rig together !
THIS BUILD IS MY FAVORITE! I WAS PUMPED TO SEE THAT A HOT ROD TRUCK IS NOW AVAILABLE.
35 is my favorite
I think it’s great Joey added windows and a/c to a cup powered truck!
Just unheard of and awesome!
The snap on tools factory five truck build was amazing!
That f80mp multi position ratchet is nice! Something me and my grandpa add to our tool box!
Awesome build! I like the 12 point flex head double end wrench.
This is by far my favorite build.
That 35 truck is easily my favorite. Damn!
The Daytona is definitely my favorite build, though this is a close second. I have allllways loved the Daytona, and modernized, it's an absolute dream car.
That snap on adjustable ratchet is too much. Finally one ratchet for multi purpose. Great idea
Impressive craftsmanship both on the truck and the tools
Cool build. Definitely looking forward to seeing this thing running. I am impressed with the features of the digital torque wrench. Being able to change units with the push of a button would be super handy.
This is by far my favorite build! NASCAR Engine, sequential trans and Snap-On's!...for shore!
This is my favorite episode because it shows everything you can do with snap on send me that Rachet

My favorite has to be the Snap-On Electric Torque Wrench! That preset feature is really cool.
The digital torque wrench is my favorite tool shown.
This has been my favourite build to date
I love them all! Great job!
I really like the close up creeper seat
How much was the engine? I didn’t catch the price the first 2849392273 times he mentioned it.
when the engine and diff was on the fork lift he said 100 k worth or so..and then later talking about 80k worth of engine itself...
I just heard him say $80,000.
My favorite has been my set of quarter inch drive medium depth sockets, been great for electronics in tight spaces
The pick up is the best, unbelievable videos guys.
The light weight variable speed drill looks fantastic.
It's a tough choice all the tools are amazing, proud fan and advocate of snap on tools. The snap on digital torque wrenches are always amazing, have the smallest 3/8 drive one and have always loved it so ofcourse i am definitely liking the newer style with a higher torque rating, but that cordless 14.4v drill was definitely my favorite from this build. Being an automotive tech you never know what space you might have to squeeze a drill into to get the job done right.
Awesome build guys.
Amazing what a car and what tools every mans dream love em Larry in London x
By far this build is my favorite
This project is my favorite by far
Drifting with the AC cranked. Bad assery right there. My fav so far. Keep em coming....

Brand New '35 Ford Race Truck is perfection. This is one of Joey's best vehicles to come out of the garage.

In all honesty I would have to say that so far this will definitely be my favorite build!!! I love this series and the great garages series!! I've watched pretty much every single episode. Keep it coming please! I would absolutely love to win that ratchet I already know a few uses for it.
Not knocking anyone in this vid but the conversations are so weird lol.... like you can tell its somewhat scripted but they play it off as a normal conversation.... and they did such a good job its messing with my head.
Hot rod truck was my favorite just the idea that goes into something like that is a dream for me
Wow 12 and 1/2 minutes and no actual building. That’s amazing!
I want to see what this preforms like, but this might be my favorite build because of the simplicity yet precision that it takes to build, kind of like snap on tools haha

GREAT VIDEO JOEY!!!! I LOVE YOUR BUILD!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!
90% Snap-on 10% build, no thanks
I have a roadster that I am very proud of, 600+HP 2100lbs. Now I need that coupe I liked that build it stoked my desire even more.
35 ford truck definitely my favorite truck I'd build with Snap~On tools. Although that coupe is beast as well.
When Is the tools give away?
That truck is going to be awesome, fav build so far..
The digital torque wrench is my favorite. I started out with a beam wrench years back then moved on to the clicker style. I have tool box full of torque wrenches. Having just one at the shop and track would make my day. Foot pounds or newton meters no longer a math problem. billy
