Thanks for the super clip,,, I remember the Sough Tunnel walk we did,,, there was an engineer possession on that weekend and we spent some time looking at the middle where the ends meet,, they were off by about 2 meters,,
I am a Darwener,and the Sough tunnel is a remarkable piece of civil engineering,especially when you consider when it was built,how it was built and the lack of machinery that was available then,and of course how many people were killed during its construction.

True story, many years ago that line used to get a HST 125 passing along it every Saturday on it's way towards Manchester.
