This is a big one IMO, AirPulse goes against my long time budget benchmark, the JBL LSR305. Both have similar sized woofers, both have tweeters recessed inside the horn. But that would be the end of similarities. The biggest difference between those two is the price, JBL is around 1/3 of price of AirPulse and it shows everywhere. The build quality, the features, and most importantly the sound quality. AirPulse is better than JBL in every sound category, bass tightness and depth, midrange quality, top end extension and air, soundstageing, You name it. Does it justify the price difference? In my opinion yes, but if You can not afford AirPulse worry not, as JBL is still the king of budget speakers (AirPulse is in a different category altogether because of its price).
Review of AirPulse will be available soon at my blog at www.digitalstereophony.blogspot.com
Sound recorded using Tascam DR22WL sound recorder. Levels matched. All tone settings set to neutral. - Наука та технологія

the blog is looking very clean. Excellent full review! The photos are also mint!
Air pulse's treble sound like the live instrument is playing right in front of the microphone, reminds me of recording my own guitar, so beautiful.
Les écoutes alternées sont bien plus utiles pour se faire une idée précise que les longues parties de pistes. Bravo pour votre formule !!
Another great video :)
AirPulse are much more detailed and at the same time VERY SPECIFIC high. That's why they are even difficult to compare. A similar situation with ADAM monitors. These tape twitters sometimes sound very natural and sometimes very sharp. JBL in this case sounds just muddy. He listened to 308 for a long time. Nothing interesting. JBL for me begins to exist with the series LSR25 28 32 and the updated line 6325, 6328, 6332. In this case, I would choose AirPulse A200.
Thanks for your video. It would be useful to know your opinion on Heco ascada 2.0 in comparsion with Air pulse a200
What kind of tweeters are those that's used on the A200? Its produces very high frequencies like 20khz higher?
Bravo pour vos choix musicaux 👍
AirPulse A100 vs AirPulse A200 please!
AirPulse treble has more details but sounds too thin/tinny. The mid range seems more scooped as well. It makes for an exciting sound but quickly gets tiring.
AirPulse A200 seems do they job more clear with placing instruments in the area and between of them
yes, clearer , you can hear the instrument is separated with each other in an airy space with authority just like hi-end stereo.stunning design
Je choisis JBL pour sa meilleure définition des médiums. Air Pulse est super dans les aigüs, mais ne reflète pas assez le rendu d' un disque commercialisé.
aaaah ribbon tweeters...another league..compare this to edifier S2000 pro please
are the airpulse made by Edifier ?? the remote control is identical to the S1000db.
yes. it's a brand of Edifier
Airpulse is it's own brand. Edifier is an investor of Airpulse and they work together. That's why they're called airpulse and not edifier speakers. Edifier worked with Phil Jones who's with Airpulse, he designed designed them. But are sold on Edifier's website.
I wish i could afford the LSR305, but a pair here in Brazil costs 3000 when presonus eris 3.5 would cost around 1000 quid. Then i started going down the price lane trying to keep audio quality.
I am between the Presonus Eris 3.5, the Edifier R1850db, and now this sweet Airpulse sounds just great, very close to the LSR that is twice as expensive around here.
How much is R1850DB and Aipulse in Your country?
the edifier cost around 850quid and the Airpulse isn't available here in Brazil yet. I contacted Edifier via chat today and asked who were the authorized dealers for the Airpulse since it's an Edifier ramification.
They said no one sells them here yet and that she file a request to the managers to bring them. Such an excellent support. I thought they weren't even going to reply me.
If the E3.5 is 1000 and R1850DB is 850 than get Edifier without a doubt! JBL is also not worth 3 times as much as Edifier IMO
For under four hundred dollars, which speakers would you say are the best of the best that you've reviewed?
+Joseph Buccati JBL LSR305. The best value for money IMO.
Digital Stereophony Thank you for the quick response. I love your content. Keep it up!
Cheers!
oh my the high end on the airpulse is way to strong.
edifier s2000v VS JBL305! please.
Thanks for your videos!

IT NOT WORKING 404 NOT FOUND
You cant beat LSR 305. do not force your luck. lsr 305 is better than all of them(audioengine a5+ , edifier s2000,r2730db etc)
It almost sounds sometimes like the JBL is producing more sound that can fit in the box and its trapped in the box. Compared to these A200's its like all the sound is getting out everywhere. Of course i cant afford a $1000 pair of speakers.
lsr305 costs so much in my country :( import tax and shipping cost is a bitch
the songs are sped up ... but you know - better than some annoying youtube library songs...
Am I going crazy, I just listened to this tack on Spotify and then on this video. This video seems to be pitch shifted a semi tone or two higher than the tack on spotify!?
Nope. I do not mess with the pitch of the music in any way
That means you are going crazy lol

А200 очень приукрашивает, вч долго не послушаешь устаёт ухо, нет в них воздуха низ и верх только
в живую слушали ?
these 2 costs the same in my country
about 750 usd
Musik zum testen nicht optimal 😊
JBL is more natural, A200 sounds "metal"...and the mids is too bright...
same quality.. no the best or worst,, just the size and the price probably
same as when you have a good quality headphone, and you just play around with EQ..
need some proof? , minimize the youtube/browser and listen... :)
JBL sounds better, more cohesive & natural sounding. The Airpulse has a hole in the low/mid section & a giant peak in the upper highs, not balanced at all, therefor i think that the airpulse is not worth the money at all...
I have not a educated ear but I can hear some of the instruments sound in mid range ı think goes away and leave a bass sound and treble sound. AirPulse A200 is a benchmark for nearly all of the speakers tested here IMO. Having said this LSR 305 is also a good speaker but they are at a different class in sound and price range.
"sounds better" is always subjective but for me, JBL is no where close to A200. Yes A200 is lacking bass but, everything else A200 is far more detailed.
