@@DIEKALSTER8 Jason Momoa is Hawaiian. However, as he mentioned himself, he used to date a South Australian woman, and lived in my hometown of Adelaide for a time. He supports the Port Adelaide football club and the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team. So it's not that surprising that he's good with the Aussie slang, really.
@@greedyrooster3337 Knowing that I just said Adelaide was my hometown, why would you just randomly say such a shitty thing? Is this something you do - go around telling people that their homes, or other things which matter to them suck? Do you do this in person too, or just on the internet? Adelaide might not be everyone's cup of tea - what city is? - but clearly you missed the maternal lesson about not saying anything at all if you haven't got anything nice to say.
What i love about these interviews is that you actually ask questions that interest you und think of funny games to play with them. And its clear that your guests enjoy that a lot. As they have to do all these other interviews that are all the same. Sending love from Germany to the land down under.
No. 1 favorite AUSSIE SLANG is: *"Dates in me shorts mate."* Used in sentence: "I had to go home because I had dates in me shorts." Interpretation: "I just shit me pants." Learned this slang from an actual Australian visiting a dental clinic in Eugene Oregon in 1998. I could not get over the way he expressed his humor, so I asked him to teach me some slang. This is what he told me.

@@littlebunse5 Yeah you're on the money, mate. You have to present an interview on paper or a game concept that's fairly safe to even get a foot in the door at these things ay. I was happy to get 10 mins with him and be able to try a "safe" idea (i.e. questions about the movie and acting) and a "risky" idea (i.e the Aussie based quiz). He supports the Port Adelaide football club and the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team. So it's not that surprising that he's good with the Aussie slang, really.
@@BellaBarossa Out of all the places to live in Australia the poor bugger ended up in the most boring of all. Zzzzzz...
@@greedyrooster3337
Knowing that I just said Adelaide was my hometown, why would you just randomly say such a shitty thing? Is this something you do - go around telling people that their homes, or other things which matter to them suck? Do you do this in person too, or just on the internet?
Adelaide might not be everyone's cup of tea - what city is? - but clearly you missed the maternal lesson about not saying anything at all if you haven't got anything nice to say.
The greatest man on the planet Earth along with a superhero
Khak Drogo is barely a superhero but ok...
TelevisedChaos lol 😂
TelevisedChaos
Kek Drogo.
Heh heh....
I love how genuinely excited Jason Momoa is about all the slang 😂
best ducking interview I've watched!
It literally had 0 cringey moments
So true, they had the exact opposite of cringe. I don't know what to call it.
British Shorthair Just cool, very cool
I would say boring as fuck would sum it up. Most actors have nothing to say and all day to say it.
This was an amazing interview! Congrats and hope to see more interviews with 'mainstream' people from you Ozzy Man!
jason laughed so damn hard at cactus lol.
So hard he went supersonic and we couldn't even hear him
I adore Jason all the way from Stargate Atlantis, Frontier, GoT and beyond. Haven't seen Aqua yet!
How to laugh like Jason Momoa?
Just open your mouth and don't make a sound.... 6:10 7:38
Can only hear it underwater
Like the skitz egg from harry potter.
@@mattinahat6475 😁😂
Syed Noore Rasul I actually do that 😂
Im dead :)
Lmao 😂😂😂
What i love about these interviews is that you actually ask questions that interest you und think of funny games to play with them. And its clear that your guests enjoy that a lot. As they have to do all these other interviews that are all the same. Sending love from Germany to the land down under.
he's voice cracking more than a teenager going trough puberty
Slippery_ and still manages to make the ladies drool
Think he did the Haka before that.
It's all the media stuff he has to do hours on end. Has be a strain on the old voice.
@PurpleBlazerHQ not true
I was looking for a comment like this b4 I commented it
I can’t stop thinking of Khal Drogo when I see Momoa
Emilia clarke enjoyed it
He was on Stargate Atlantis before that
No. 1 favorite AUSSIE SLANG is: *"Dates in me shorts mate."* Used in sentence: "I had to go home because I had dates in me shorts."
Interpretation: "I just shit me pants."
Learned this slang from an actual Australian visiting a dental clinic in Eugene Oregon in 1998. I could not get over the way he expressed his humor, so I asked him to teach me some slang. This is what he told me.
Ozzyman was like “someone counted? Someone go into this.”
Jason was like “you weren’t? 😂”
Malorie Hayes off Bird Box: Do you hear that??
Children: No?
Malorie: That’s Jason Momoa laughing
omfg 😂
It always gets me every time when he said " jumped off the planet" lol
Aquaman and Ozzyman! DC's new wonder twins. :p
Laidback interviewer of the year goes to ....... OZZYMAN!
Ozzy makes these guys feel so relaxed. Hes so professional at the beginning then just makes them play these games and it feels so chill all of a sudden. Keep these coming man.
Been waiting for this for *_so_* long
We have one the sexiest man that ever lived , and Jason Momoa in the same rooms people!
😂
😁😁😁you got me in the first half
@Ozzyman ... One thing I really liked about your interviews, besides the batshit crazy comedy and the killer timing is that you really give the interviewee a lot of space to completely bare and express themselves mate... none of the "yeah yeah" or prompting the next words.... fair dinkum top notch... in my humble opinion.....!! Cheers..!! :)
Idk if the chemistry was amazing. Whatever it was ur humor or his or both. U gotta do more interviews. Top 5 I’ve watched and I watch most the hosts
this made me chunder on my double pluggers
STRUTH!
This is funny 🤣🤣🤣
I hope not
Is chunder Aussie? We say that in London too
He just said chunder
That interview couldn’t have gone any better. You guys look like you were having fun. Great job Ozzy Man!
I'll tell ya what. That guy is damn good looking!
So is Jason, kinda.
but seriously, i love this video, and i love your channel :-) UPDATE: i enjoyed this FAR more than i thought i would.
Ok so my take away is that ozzyman did a far better job ( with way better genuine questions) than most msm we see n these. The result: genuine Engagement and real answers from Jason- you could tell he felt respected and able to seriously discuss his work. Only found you today but definitely now a subscriber
I love these. They always look like OzzyMan is photo shopped in 😂😂
Harry Gibbons 💯
Jason Momoa seems like he'd be pretty decent to meet. The sort of bloke you could sit down with for a yarn for a while. Down to earth, not flashy Hollywood
Your interview approach kind of reminds me of Norman Gunston. Your ability to put the guest off guard yet still somehow be warm and endearing, whilst all the while asking thoughtful, pertinent questions, cant be understated. Thats some real talent. You bloody rippa mate, good stuff.
Much love from California, love ya aussies and Ozzy Man!
“When something is described as deadly, is it described as good or bad?”
Jason: “Amazing”
*Perfection*
I've watched several of your other videos and really enjoyed them. This is the first interview of yours I've watched but I've loved momoa since I saw home in stargate Atlantis. That was where I was first exposed. This was a super wholesome interview! Please keep up the wonderful content!
If Momoa had started singing "I come from a land down chunder" he would have deserved the Vegemite right away!
Does anyone else think that this is a bit awkward at the start
And then got 100% better
Not awkward, he's bored. These actors and actresses have literally hundreds of these kinds of interviews to do in a row to promote their movies. That's why he didnt respond super happily or enthusiastically to ozzies legit but fairly cookie cutter questions. he was a lot more engaged in his game because it was unique and fun :) imo
@@littlebunse5 Yeah you're on the money, mate. You have to present an interview on paper or a game concept that's fairly safe to even get a foot in the door at these things ay. There's quite a lengthy approvals process with multiple people involved (studio marketers, actors publicists n managers etc.). I was happy to get 10 mins with him and be able to try a "safe" idea (i.e. questions about the movie and acting) and a "risky" idea (i.e the Aussie based quiz). The "Guess the Aussie Slang" idea is actually an idea I've had for over a year to try at a movie junket, but it has been rejected before by actors agents and/or I've been unavailable to go do it. Shit lined up nicely for this one and we now have a proof of concept in the bag with this video going into 2019 :) I'd love to do more of 'em...
@@ozzymanreviews damn bruh you probably get this all the time but honored you replied to me, been a big fan for a few years now. I'm glad you found your calling in life and that you're so damn good at it, cheers
@@ozzymanreviews also thx for explaining and I also have my fingers crossed that this video opens doors cuz this was just fun for all parties it seemed!
@@ozzymanreviews You seemed a bit scared at first looking at your eyes but there was no nervousness in your voice so you handled that like a champ. Loved the interview and the cactus part was effing hilarious. Good job mate!
Jason is so awesome! He’s just himself. So not Hollywood, we need more like him.
Jason mamoa can come to Australia anytime
Top bloke 🇦🇺
lilpablo99 he so can no visa needed like when I went to NZ
