- Hey everyone!! Haven't been thrifting in SUUUUUUCH a long time! In the comments down below let me know if any of you ever check out your local thrift stores? They are a great place to score some deals!
Was a little disappointed by the first store because normally I'd see that stuff for like half the price at toy and collectible shows, but those stores need to make money to survive so totally understandable!

Where I live in Coquitlam I have 3 Value Villages less than 10 to 15 minutes away and sometimes I can even do road trips and hit up like 6 VV thruft stores in one day, I'm always finding cool stuff! So Jealous of that Boba Fett WOW!

Love the thrift store vlog. I am off on Fridays and I love to drive around and look in thrift stores. Several in my city. However I have awful luck. A friend of mine finds everything ha.

I used to love thrift stores but ever since American Pickers the managers all things everything is worth solid gold. Never give up though, there are some wonderful deals still out there! :) Thanks for the fun Vlog!

Yes I enjoy your vlogs! I sometimes go to thrift stores and yard sales in search of deals but it’s been a while since I last went. I don’t know if you have them there but my area in Ohio has these places, kind of like warehouse type buildings where they rent out 100s of booths for people to sell their collectibles and such.
Wyman Lew I do have a toy show that happens twice a year in the next big city over! Will be going to that at the end of the month!

I love going to junk stores! That first store you went to was a rip. I collect 12 inch heroes and I try to only pay 3 dollars for mine. Not no 12 dollars! You're video was very fun. It was like shopping with you. I hope that you will be able to branch out to other towns and film them also. Thank you very much! You did a very good job.

@@LauraLegends Zen was a fun series. If you don't take it too seriously, You can really enjoy it. I used to have not only the comic book series, but the video games and the action figures as well. Oh, the Boba mantra is about as serious as a religion for us toy geeks. Should you break the code, it's a capitol sin.

I wish we had thrift stores like that here in Australia. The best we get are usually Op Shops where people dump the clothes and crockery from deceased estates.

The best thrift is at Wal-Mart (ohhpps your in Canada)! A Barbie M2M (fully articulated body removing common Barbie head) still sits unbought clearancing down to $9 USD + tax or under $10 USD! It is Camping Is Fun Rock Climber Barbie! You can buy any Fashionista Barbie (face type) and M2M her now for an under $10 USD action figure body that Hasbro markets at $20 USD for Marvel action figures! Skin tone differences can be adapted by painting the M2M sought after body to head swap!!

I live across from a Value Villiage and go daily. I find Megos, old 70s robots and all sorts of awesome stuff.
Loved the video keep them coming. Try swap meets they usually have really cool stuff people just wanna get rid of for cheap. They too sometimes have their high prices too. Glad to see you remember to eat. Lol! When I go hunting for toys I forget I have a stomach or a need to go to the bathroom. Lol! Its like kamel mode just keep searching. Lol!
You really have to make a trip over to Vancouver and hit every Value Village and Sally Ann you can find, there is some amazing stuff!
That Action Force comic isn’t very common to find. I would have definitely picked that one up.
I'm so NOT comic savvy 😭 I really need to get into them more! I've read a few here and there but I've never sat down to look at and read complete sets/storylines/do my homework etc etc
Laura Legends I love searching through boxes of back issues like that one. To me it’s not always about the value/rarity but also the thrill of finding books that I really loved reading as a kid.
This was a great video & I have finally subscribed after lots of other quality stuff- very classy Avengers: Endgame btw. Finding an Action Force comic in the wild is rare as they were not made in the US except some were relabeled European Adventures. (I found 2 of the oversized ones once at a Goodwill.) Laura, you can't be an expert on everything but you are awesome! Part of the thrill is digging through the back issues to find long forgotten treasures or that 1 issue you missed.

Im commenting super late but oh my gosh I would have died for that my mlp plushie. 18 bucks wasnt too bad. I think mlp plushies for me are like Boba Fett for you. You see, you buy. Theyre so hard to find " in the wild" I found one for the first time a month or so ago and hyperventilated 😂😂 Im short and had to ask a middle aged guy to get it off the shelf for me, and i screamed and he thought I was insane. I clutched onto it for dear life until i got home. It was 30 bucks, and on sale 40% off thank god. Still expensive but i wasnt leaving without her. That E.T plush was SOOOO over priced. Ive seen it twice here in the past couple of months, and we only have like one thrift store, and two antique stores. Its everywhere, and always like 2 bucks. I get why some places feel the need to overprice bc theyre hoping to make some money bc they need it, but its when jerks overprice just bc they can thats horrid. I remember once there was a place that overpriced so badly this guy had kids crying and walking away bc he jacked the prices up four times what they were worth and the parents couldnt buy them. It was horrible. I found some 2000s mlps there and bought them just to get them away from him, they deserved better, but this guy tried to change the price on me as soon as i got my money out hoping i would just pay it.. Hell no. I told him i was giving him what he originally asked and no more. I being a 26 year old who very much looks like a 14 year old, he looked so surprised that i talked back to him. I despise people like that. Or the people who see you get excited over something and jack up the price hoping you want it enough to pay for it. Scum of the earth.
