Brilliant vid, Fraser! My husband and I have booked a cabin of this style for our upcoming cruise on Azura and it looks superb! Great to see a thorough tour and all the additional perks that come with the cabin. I shall unpack the brolly I was going to take now! Being overlooked does not bother us. If people want to watch us sipping vino and beer on our balcony, they can do! Thanks again for posting this. Very useful 👍
Hey Annie, thanks so much for your comment - really glad you found the video useful! Indeed - no need for the brolly, although I don’t think even a brolly would’ve helped me with the volume of rain I got in Madeira on my Azura cruise… Ha, have the best time!
Thanks Fraser. Not been on a cruise since Covid but going in November in this type of cabin. my favourite! Your video reminded me how much I love these cabins!
Thanks for the tour! Very nice cabin! Not a fan of the open balcony though. I like cover. I burst out laughing when I saw the plant.😂 That would get moved quickly. I loved that little shelf in my one Princess mini suite for my small purse, phone and water bottle.
Ah, you have a use for ‘the shelf’! The plant also made me laugh - not sure where I’d put that, but I don’t really think it adds much to the room, haha! I’ve never managed to cruise in one of these rooms, but one day…!!
We've booked for next year on Azura, on level 8 (E) in a Superior Deluxe cabin which does not have an overlooked balcony, which we prefer. Good overview, looking forward to our trip. ☺️
We ended up In one of these cabins after originally booking a standard on the deck above. We went from C611 to D611. Loved the room. Not bothered about being over looked. My only slight annoyance was a constant humming noise. Not sure if it was the air con or the exhaust noises. A bottle of champagne and chocolates on arrival and fruit one day. Got the atlas but no binoculars. Loved our cruise. Our first 11 March to 18th
@@FraserAtSea they didn't tell us I just noticed it had changed from c deck to d deck.i thought everything on board was great but pre sailing p and o were pretty poor at answering queries
Nice room but probably not for me when you pointed out the view of other rooms on your balcony. And first I thought ‘nice there is a plant’ but I would bump it of the shelf a number of times so I would place it somewhere else 😂. But it looked good for the age she is.
Hey! Totally agree re her age, and also totally understand re the balconies. I generally don’t think it would be a huge issue for me, but would probably tend to spend more time sitting inside with the door open, rather than actually on the balcony itself. A really interesting one!
Thanks for showing us this cabin. Really love the cabin but I have my doubts about being over looked on the balcony so would probably go for a different one
I really like these type of cabins and they scream Princess to me with the walk in wardrobe area which I really like. The shelf is useful but for me ends up becoming a dumping ground. The overlooked balcony wouldn’t be an issue for me.
Agree that they scream Princess (for me too) - I guess it depends which line you’re more used to. I’m intrigued to know the official use of the shelf - seems very extra to just pop a phone on, haha!
Oh, I’m so jealous! The team onboard let me have a look around, which was so good. I didn’t feel great making my way back to my trusty inside cabin though, haha!
Great cabin tour, I like the separate sofa area - there's certainly plenty of space. We stayed On C deck which is just above you, which I didn't realize had the same double depth balcony as yours, but only half of it was overlooked. We've done a little cabin tour on our channel if you fancy having a look to compare 😉
Hey! Agreed re the sitting area - personally I prefer when this is ‘curtained off’ on the Princess ships, but I do also like the feeling of general space in here. Ah, will head over for a look!
@@FraserAtSea Totally agree re: the curtain! Also, I assume the sofa converts to a bed, so you really would benefit from a curtain in that instance 😉 Thanks for checking out our video!

Ha, have the best time!
Encompassing & kind hearted walk thru -👍. Yes, very reminiscent of a Princess stateroom - reminds me of a familiar welcoming - ty
Agreed - they’re so similar!
Great video
Thank you!
I was in D401, great cabins.😀
Thanks Fraser hope your well
I would stay in it, no problem. I’m on Azura on 6th April and just waiting for my cabin, thanks for sharing
Oh, have the best time - she’s a fantastic ship!

Hey Lynn, thanks for watching, and thanks for taking the time to comment. I agree - they’re excellent cabins - have the best cruise!

We would definitely like that cabin, I love a bath.

Would love this cabin, would definitely book it 😁

Sounds dreamy - I’ve never been lucky enough to be upgraded - hopefully one day…!!

C deck balconies are larger than balconies in other decks so c deck is a huge plus for us.
Great point!

Yeah, the inside of the room is so generous that I reckon I could get over the whole ‘being overlooked’ situation. It’s a beautiful room!

@@FraserAtSea I’ll check out some Princess cabin tours and see if I can find out.
Ooooh I’ll be in a cabin just like this in a couple of weeks! Can’t wait! Thanks for the tour, love it! How did you manage to sneak in? 😆

We have this type of cabin booked for February ❤
Ah, where are you going in Feb?
