Singaporean here.... I always enjoy seeing videos of my country and especially jewel. Fun fact, ive never stepped into terminal 4 since they opened... lol

Ah man - it's such a gorgeous airport. I stayed in that Yotelair right in the Jewel. Super cool walking out in the morning to the big jungle area. Not to be pedantic, but I would argue that the Jewel is really more of a big mall that's airport-adjacent. It's still freaking cool. The Changi airport itself is also absolutely nuts - the butterfly garden, theater, pool, etc. It's really a fascinating place. Singapore is dope. Also... pandan. 🤤

There’s a free cinema inside the transit area of T1 or T2, also a butterfly garden, cactus garden, sunflower garden, koi ponds aplenty, a swimming pool etc.. they’re all inside the transit areas of T1 to T3. You shouldn’t spend too much time in lounges in Changi, but then again you’re in T4, although they will let you in to T1-T3 transit area even if you are in T4

We have so many UNESCO world heritage sites. Theres also sand dunes, you can swim in the crater of an active volcano, ancient rice terraces etc.

You missed the multimedia show inside T4. It’s a short 5-10 min show called Peranakan Dreams and there are two different shows. Many people miss it as it isn’t well publicised. Pity as the movie is shot well and it highlights an aspect of Singapore culture not much explored by others.
I agree, the singapore airport is great. Most airports seem to focus only on earning as much money as possible, and at the same time serving unhealty foods that taste pretty bad. As a change, the Singapore airport is an experience. They have so much foods to choose from, much of it very tasty, and at an awsome price to be an airport.
A tip: If the next flight is with an airline that is not known to serve great food, I get a couple of burgers from Burger king (in the airport) in my hand luggage just in case. If being served undercooked chicken or crunchy rice on the next flight, I start munching down on a burger instead.
You'll need to spend a full day in Jewel. 😂 Light show at night at the HSBC rain vortex.

There are a lot of money changers around Singapore. You should change your money outside the airport for a better rate. Jewel is essentially a mall that has connections to the airport. Singaporeans will go to the airport + Jewel to shop and chill. Changi Airport has won numerous best airport awards before Jewel was built. So there are lots more to do than just the Jewel :)
You should try the food/drinks at the lounge,it's like a bouquet but delish;)
For travellers wanting to take the shuttle to terminal 4, do check ahead the schedule for the hours you are interested in. For lull hours, it may either not run or at lesser frequencies.
Absolutely amazing airport! Something we’d not find here in the US! Btw I noticed you get upgrades at Hilton properties, and you been flying on AirAsia throughout your journey. Are you endorsing any of the airline credit cards? Which credit card gives you airport lounge access in Singapore and throughout? I have 2 airline credit cards but still debating on which hotel CC or if AMEX is really the best one out there? Others also say Chase is up there in benefits too. Thanks in advance!
Actually it's cool that you captured the waterfall NOT in operation. I've never seen that before. Paul is just a French bakery chain. Similar to Pret.

Slide (T3)
Canopy Park, including slides, hedge and mirror maze, nets and a glass bridge (JEWEL)
Actually u didnt have to buy a metro card. U can just use paywave on ur smart watch / Visa card to tap :D
One hour to expolre Changi is not enough man!

Hello I am currently passing by Singapore on a transfer flight but I have 10 hours there. I want to walk around the airport and visit both the shop and garden but I’m afraid to accidental leave the airport. Where can I go to find more info regarding the airports border and regulations with visitors, do I need a visa, or anything like that please help thank you
They’ll be able to help you out at the airport - many people do what you do so there’s no need to worry.

Im thinking that is it becos you have not do the arrival card declaration thats why you were not able to use the egate?
cos from 2022 or so Singapore need all arrival to fill up the e-arrival card before we scan in the gate same to us Singaporeans as well. There should be some banner on the arrival card QR at the arrival halls. just guessing it might be the reason.

Again, the metro card can be used for bus trips so yes, keep that card. It has long expiry.
There is an early check-in area in Jewel which you might be able to check in but it seems it is only for certain airlines.

Singapore airport is not the most expensive airport in the world, especially the food, you still can get reasonable meals in the food court and some restaurants in Jewel, you can check it up, since I ever
travel in Asia, Europe and USA.
