ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on UA-cam and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!
Thanks for watching my videos and please subscribe if you want to see more in future.
Such hard jobs! So thoughtful of you to show parenting and farming, both 24/7 365 days a year. I don't think people appreciate how hard it is. Love you and Lizzy!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Cammy,, here comes Jock. Jock and Angus are having a blast in their tent. Lizzy looks great and the baby Bonnie is so sweet.❤️🥰👍
Love watching the boys making memories. Love to the family 🐑🐑🐑

Just like to say, what a fantastic start to life your kids have got, Two great parents, pleanty of fresh air, the chance to play, get dirty, keep up the excellent work 🙂
You and Lizzie just amaze me with how prepared you are as parents while working! It’s remarkable. I feel like I blinked and Angus is a little boy running alongside his brother, when the heck did that happen! Lol. Oh Bonnie is beautiful, those boys are going to be good protectors of her. Wonderful video. Have a great weekend and week to you all. ❤️❤️

Welcome to the world, little one. ❤️
I hope Meg is doing well. It looks like lamb prices will be good this year. When I say grace before meals, i often ask God to bless all the farmers who make it possible for us to eat.
Lovely calm vlog. Love seeing the family 👏🐑🤩
I love your videos and I look forward to watching them. I am a New York City woman who probably romanticized having animals one day. You have opened my eyes how hard this job is for you and Lizzie. You lucked out with Lizzie. What a woman! She.s an Amazon! She makes everything look easy and always has a smile. Your 3 babies are just so cute I could pinch their cheeks. You have a great life even though it is hard.
Happy healthy family day!❤️

Trivia #2 > A wee guide to the language of the Scots:
The Scots language, within Scotland:
There are 4 main dialects, which bring together 10 sub-dialects roughly covering:
Insular - Orkney and Shetland
Northern - Aberdeenshire, Highlands, Angus
* CENTRAL - Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee, Fife, Perthshire, Dumfries & Galloway
Southern - Scottish Borders
Is *Kilmarnock considered.....CENTRAL ? (Kilmarnock a town in East Ayrshire)
Within these regions there exist tens.... of sub-dialects. 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 > WoW.
Collectively, these dialects are known as Scots - and that’s just scraping the surface!
Long story short, the Scots speak either English or Gaelic, some both. > > With many...different DIALECTS.
Bonnie looks like mom!
Bonnie is going to be in line to be a sheep sheep shepherd.
Pls bring merch to Michigan, pink zipper ups XL
Trivia #1. A wee guide to the language of the Scots:
The language of Scots originates from the 'Indo-European' language family & the 'Germanic' - ( a branch of the Indo-European language family)
(which also gave us English, Dutch and German)
It all began when the Angles invaded Britain in the fifth (5th) century, coming over from Angulus. > (Denmark and Northern Germany, area today)
Angle, member of a Germanic people, which, together with the > Jutes, Saxons (and probably the Frisians) INVADED the island of Britain.
The Angles.....gave their name to England and English and....it wasn’t long before the language of Scots developed. 🗣 (and is 'Still'....developing to this day...HAHA)
> Throughout the Middle Ages, Scots grew apart from English until it was a 'distinct' language.
> The language of Scots became dominant in Scotland.
Was Marissa not able to shear cos someone got stuck in her shearing jeans? :D
Great job. How many Shetland x cheviots are you wanting this year? Plenty to choose from here.
You need to train Spot to gather kids. 😂
Great to c u again
You know, once a drone bag was for GHPs
If you love the sheep game, take a look at Sam Shut Farming. Another young farming family, this time in Yorkshire’s less favoured farmland making a go of it.
Hi I’m Ireland cork and have half wild Scottish black face ram he haven’t been sheared for 2 years I can’t get near him wath will I do
Cammy did you get the sheep my friend made for you from USA 🇺🇸????
But be so satisfying to shear the sheep albeit physically exhausting work
Wee Bonnie looks just like Lizzie in the shot shared her! I was sensing that Bonnie will be Lizzies Mini-Me, be able to lamb like a pro by age 4 and be shearing sheep when she is 8. A Master of Farming in the making!
I know jock and Angus will also be little Masters too, and the Farm will have "free" help as they all grow!
Thanks for the video Cammy!
Are you coming to the royal welsh this year cammy?
❤❤❤

Do you want to give Cammy a hand for free? Do you have 10 seconds or 21 seconds to spare? It's easy and free. For a 15 second ad, don't hit the skip button. for a longer ad, Watch it for 31 seconds before you hit the skip button. The income that Cammy makes on UA-cam is dependent on how many people watch the ad. Typically, that's only five people out of 100. I know ads are annoying,, but the value that Cammy gives us in learning and entertaining Is surely worth 15 or 21 seconds of our time. You can use that time to look at something 20 ft away for 20 seconds to reduce eye strain. It's a win-win.
I believe this to be the first time I've heard Wee Angus have so much to say! The kids look happy, healthy and determined to enjoy themselves.
