Ozzy's strategy:
Be good at challenges, provide food for people then use it as a reason to guilt them into keeping him around.
When getting food is the only reason you have to keep you on a tribe, then that shows exactly how bad at the game you are. He played a season 1-5 game to win season 34
its not a bad strategy
@@coreyellis9211 i wonder who qouls have won if it was Ozzy against Richard in s1
@@sockmonkeyjg he played all these times and never won
@@sparrowhunter1671 neither have many of the greats for example malcom or christian
Really is amazing how many fan favorites are actually major tools when you go back and rewatch them.
it's incredible and it showed in HvV lmao 💀
@@imlazyoverachiever6033 which fan favourite?
@@IceW0lf198 anyone from the hero tribe 💀
@@imlazyoverachiever6033 ok fair point. Quoting the wise words of courtney ✨"they're all a bunch of duds"✨
@@imlazyoverachiever6033 Except Cirie though.
Ozzy played 4 times and never quite got a grasp of the strategic game or the social game. When things don't go his way, he pitches a fit like a child (I.E South Pacific after the Elise vote out). He acted as if he was SUPPOSED to win Survivor yet in Cook Islands he let Yul run the game, in F v F he let his libido get in the way of strategy, in South Pacific he got more air time next to the unnecessary Redemption Island and in Game Changers he was such a non factor that I forgot he was there half the time.
To be fair, while he was following his dick in F v F, Amanda was loyal to him and his getting blindsided had nothing to do with him trying to bang her/pretty sure he banged her.
He actually should have won. Adam voted for Yul, only because he promised he would if he kept him and Parvati in longer than Penner. Adam later said that he thought Ozzy played a better game, and that if he didn't make that promise with Yul, Ozzy woulda won
@@Lord_Dino Its his game to lose and he did. Cook Islands was his best season to win. Literally had the season in the bag if he had the courage to eliminate Yul in final 4.
He couldn't eliminate Yul at final 4 since he had the idol and that idol was a super idol
His gameplay in South Pacific was embarrassing. His third time playing and gets completely outmaneuvered strategically by ppl who had never played before. He's never learned anything.
Its' funny to hear coach of all people call Ozzy a narcissist.
"game recognise game"
Child me: Omg Ozzy is so cute and he catches fish. I love him!
Adult me: Wow, Ozzy is a jerk. Vote him out already.
Me except I was in my 20s and now I'm in my 40s lol
@bbabbich3467 Survivor is a game where people play to win a million dollars, not just live on an island. ofcourse they'll be threatened by Ozzy, his skills outshone everyone. Too bad he didn't realise that
@bbabbich3467lol I dont think anyone is really "threatened" more so annoyed. Can't you tell by watching these clips or even rewatching cook islands, FvF, and south pacific . Dude was a bully to Billy, a big baby when he got voted out, and a bully to Cochran
@@BigPapiMatt Ozzy absolutely acted entitled and bossy, but he wasn't an outright bully. Cochran himself said that was just the edit, Ozzy was overall really nice to him, Cochran's issue was Ozzy kept VOTING for him. Billy was actually seen as untrustworthy because he made alliances with everyone, but Ozzy definitely didn't look good with how he handled Billy. Also, throwing a challenge that early on is stupid.
But make no mistake, people are threatened by Ozzy. Parvati literally said she had to get rid of him cause he'd win if she let him get to the F5 like he wanted. It's a consensus that Ozzy was winning South Pacific if he made it to the end, so they had to beat him.
me going through these emotions in 1 month. also going on a major deep dive on ozzy and being SHOCKED AT WHAT I FOUND???
Ozzy’s jury speech is funny. The edit tried to make it a really sincere moment but in reality he was bitter as hell. And yes, Ozzy returning cemented the fact that his strategy is find food, can’t vote me out. I’m a survivor. Yes Ozzy you are, a survivor that doesn’t look at fine print.
Ozzy is probably one of the most bitter jurors ever. In FvF he let his emotions guide him and when he got blindsided he blamed Parvati even though his game sucked and in Game Changers he was trying so hard to make everyone believe that Brad played a much better game than Sarah. Even Michaela said while she was voting for Sarah that anyone who's not gonna vote for her is just bitter
Not so fun fact, By the time the finale aired, Ozzy apparently had cheated on Amanda and they broke up
I’ve never understood the love for Ozzy. It wasn’t that he didn’t have a strategy, but he always felt that everyone should fall in line with what he wants. He never seemed to consider what was best for other people. Not to mention him feeling owed time with Amanda. I didn’t realize it was being shown all the way back in Cook Islands, but I think most people got over it in SP
He pretty.
Is he a alpha Male? Mm
@@aaa-444 A Beta who wants to be Alpha, I reckon. Alphas command respect, Betas demand it.
"he always felt that everyone should fall in line with what he wants." I think the same can be said for several "bad" but popular survivor players. Hantz was a control freak who had to have things his way. Spencer was a control freak who thought his way was superior. The best survivor players are able check their egos and figure out how their opponents' interest can line up with their own interests. Parvati, Yul, Jeremy, Michelle, Sandra, and (to a degree) Boston Rob were all very self-aware players who could also read others quite well. Although Boston Rob is admittedly a control freak as well, but he's shown hes capable of being both great and terrible haha.
Finally someone said ir, Ozzy and James are just so overrated imo.
Loved this video! I don’t care how physically dominant you are in challenges or how good you are at catching fish, that doesn’t make it okay for you to act like an arrogant, bratty little control freak.
Ozzy: intends to starve Parvati and Adam
*3 years later*
Ozzy- “YOU PUT A PRICE ON OUR FRIENDSHIP!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣hilarious but true as well
Funniest part is that Parv voted Ozzy to win in Season 13. Also, she never seems to be able to spell his name or his nickname correctly.
To be fair he barely knew Parvati in Cook Islands. By the time of FvF they knew eachother outside of the game. He was going to take her to the end with him. He did later claim he wasn't as bitter at Parvati made he made that whole speech to make Amanda look better cuz he wanted her to win.
Not even 2 years later
"You took away 14 days I could've spent with Amanda." This is the epitome of why Ozzy doesn't understand Survivor. He literally just admitted he and Amanda are an unbreakable bond yet is mad that he got voted off because of it.
He used Amanda as a shield to protect his ego 🤣💀 as much as a fan I am of Ozzy he does have a huge ego problem and that ego cost him possibly winning
@colechung7806 Worst part was that by the time the finale and live reunion aired, apparently he had already cheated on her
@@066kshitizvsingh4 yeah I remember that 😬😬😬😬ouch
Years later it was revealed she helped plan the blindside haha classic
@@mikerock621 amanda ?
I know Coach is a joke but he is still more self aware than Ozzy.
No he really wasn't, coach used religion to steer his tribe that was so uncomfortable to watch
He also seemed to think that talking about his honor made him the stand out winner but realistically he was honorable when honor was easy to do that was it
Ironically all three members of the final tribal had deluded themselves into believing they could actually win the game which is hilarious when you watch the jury speaks (except Cochran who was busy kissing coaches ass)
@@sockmonkeyjg honestly I'd check the funny115 on coaches SoPo story, really shows how his thought process is, although yeah he did show that he didn't know how to do the ftc.
Coach is amazing and hot. Ozzy is a tool
It’s way too funny to me that this man thought he was gonna be the leader on a tribe of people who have all played before lmao. It’s also crazy that he just NEVER learns from his mistakes after playing that long.
You know you're bad when Albert wants to teach you humility
Ozzy is the biggest front runner when he’s on top and the biggest sore loser otherwise not named Russell
Russell’s is more playful arrogance whilst ozzy was just an entitled brat
@@Captainmarex russell was just given a better edit since production was in love with him
21 MINUTES of footage?! damn
Only 21 minutes
13:02 was just a golden moment.
"I'm a big part of this tribe"
*presents .01 lb fish with .000001 lbs of meat*
Honestly Ozzy wasn't that bad in Cook Islands, and in Game Changers he was ok.
But wow yeah he was arrogant as hell. Especially in Micronesia.
"I really don't think I'm the leader, I just think I've got the good ideas" lmaoooo
Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy 🙄The bit at jury where he wanted to slander Parvati and wouldn't let her speak sums him right up 😂😂
all while she gave him her vote to win in cook islands.
12:55 "I'm a big part of this tribe" *holds up 1.5 bites of food*
I started watching survivor during the pandemic, I heard of ozzy and was excited to see him play (cook islands was the first season I watched) and I was so confused about the hype with every season I saw the confusion grew… he’s so so SO arrogant
The GREATEST challenge beast in Survivor history, BY A MILE!
But his social strategy game is the one reason why he's never won.
Well, he's actually tied for the most individual immunity wins with Tom, Colby, Terry and Brad
The most challenges won in a single record goes to Tom and Boo
The most challenges straight won record goes to Bob
The only reason he's won so many immunities is because he's a four times player
Growing up was going from a kid who was upset Ozzy didn't win in S13 and thinking he was an amazing fan-favorite, to being thankful that players like Yul win.
21:37 took him 4 seasons to realize that. Not to say that Ozzy didn't do amazing feats in his Survivor career, but like Albert said, a little humility helps for sure.
After S29 players realised production will never actually let them starve, a guy like Ozzy isn't necessary.
Now we need this video but with Rupert 😂😂
Loved Rupert's antics growing up, but man, can he ever be self-righteous. I hate to say it, but Russell Hantz put it best.
"The great, powerful Rupert. The good guy! The second coming of Christ!"
Yes I never understood the love for Rupert
@@user-db9vy2gh3v He's basically a Shonen anime protagonist.
Yells a lot.
Contagious laugh.
Stronger than he looks.
...Not exactly the brightest bulb in the shop.
Not the greatest people person either.
But he does always mean well. He has a good heart, and he goes into every obstacle with a tenacity and ambition that he can and will win. Regardless of the odds against him.
Unfortunately, Reality TV doesn't have plot armor to save him when the chips are down.
@@jamespatton8402 Rupert runs a non profit to help adolescents from troubled backgrounds make better lives for themselves. He's literally one of the most selfless people to ever play the game.
Russell runs a multi million dollar oil company. You tell me what right that gaslighting POS has to question anyone's moality.
Rupert was bad in S20, but I still think Ozzy is worse.
Ozzy held on to a grudge for 8 years lolz
Lex been holdin on a grudge for 19 years
I really enjoy the shade that Penner consistently throws Ozzy’s way. And Cirie.
Take a shot everytime Ozzy says something about bringing in food or fish.
"The provider in this tribe" 🤣🤣🤣💀
double shot when he says 'I really don't think I'm the leader of this tribe'
Can we do one with Russell being arrogant?
Actually don't, we will be here all day
My video prior is almost that!
I just remember my mom adoring Ozzy and I genuinely never understood why. Him getting blindsided so epically in Micronesia is part of the reason why I love that season so much. He's a tool and I'm glad that he never won!
Here's the reverse for you.
I've never understood this Ozzy hate. Sure, he never had a good strategy and more or less did the same thing, but. He is a nice guy, is entertaining as hell and is one of the greatest physical players ever.
It's the same as respecting Russel as a player, even though he is a complete and total narcissistic asshole, but the reverse. Respect Ozzy the man.
i think like after cook islands and everyone's positive reaction to him, it just went all to his head. like even before cook islands he acted like a prince. imagine how he acted after seeing how much the audience loved him. i mean he got a whole ass car because everyone loved him so much. like that all goes to someone's head so it makes sense that he just got so much worse after cook islands.
“That’s how a wiener plays” wow such wisdom
as if bro wasnt hurling coconuts into the bushes so he wouldnt be "feeding his competition" too lol
In Cook Islands, Ozzy benefitted from his status as an underdog since he was part of the Aitu 4, and I still consider their streak from the Mutiny to Final Four to be one of the greatest parts of Survivor history. His arrogance was easily excused at that point because we wanted to root for the underdog, so karma being a bitch and Ozzy being a major part of their wins in challenges felt great. But take him outside of that, and you really see how petty he could be in all of his subsequent seasons.
Ozzy isnt half the Survivor Cirie is.
I mean no one can compare to Cirie tbf
The juxtaposition of these clips is masterful. Definitely lmao
You're not wrong, but I still think that of all entitled people, he's the one who's most entitled to his entitlement
"Entitled to his entitlement" 😂
14:23 mans really got mad cuz he missed out on seeing one of the worst movies ever lol
Ik it’s a joke but I’m pretty sure the seasons was 6-6 so whoever won would prob have merge majority. (If the other tribe went to redemption whoever came back would’ve flipped, but ozzy went for his tribe and didn’t flip)
Ozzy never learned strategy playing 4 times and probably never will even if he returns once again.
The ultimate guilt tripper.
Hilariously in spite of all this he was a vote away from winning the first time.
"Not to toot my own horn..." followed by wild Ozzy horn-tooting! 😂
I remember as a kid I loved Izzy from Cook Islands (my first ever survivor season) it was crazy I called my rabbit ozzy lol but know that I’m older I realised how cocky and entitled he is I’m still a fan not as much as before
I think hes just a kid the first two times playing and the clips aren’t that bad to me. His later seasons he definitely is entitled asf lol
I literally started watching Survivor because I was flipping channels, saw him and thought he was hot 😂😂😂🤣💀.
Same 💀💀💀 I think his arrogance is a little hot aswell…
the irony he didn't trust Ami at all when person nearby Cirie already had a history of excellent strategic moves getting rid of people got him out in the end...
I guess it’s because I’ve watched the seasons he was in after having grown up? I don’t know, but I legitimately never understood why Ozzy was considered a Fan Favorite lol. He’s kind of unbearable to me. His first showing he was ok I guess, but from Micronesia onwards, I just could never stand him.
I agree that Ozzy is very bratty and cliquey but I can sympathize a bit with some of his complaints. It's easy from home to forget the survival parts of the game but when you're there and you're fishing for the tribe I can see getting ticked off at people who came in with the Garret mentality of only really thinking about the challenge and social sides of the game.
I think that is why Pavati and him got along at first because they are both very cliquey. The problem was his strategy of getting rid of everyone that Parvati and him didn't like made him target number 1 for Parvati once she had all her friends at the merge. He sort of admits this in an interview. He should have kept around a few people he didn't like just so Parvati would have someone else to target.
nobody:
Ozzy: "basically"
I'm so glad he got blindsided sooooo good in Micronesia
Ozzy played 4 times and never won, Cochran played twice and won his second go.
To be absolutely fair Cochran only won with a cast of mostly recruits and some of the worst all stars in reality TV history
@@entertainer_ev2747 yeah but that's true of most games it's all about luck and variables.
Coach was, and always will be, the most cringe survivor player of all time. That man will preach god right to your face as he stabs you with a knife at tribal. Then try to hug you and think your still friends. Nobody was as delusional as him.
I won’t go into specifics but I met and had an interaction with him once and in that one conversation I was able to see why he lost Survivor four different times.
What in the conversation made it clearer?
Oh god what did he say?
PLEASE go into specifics.
Spill the tea…
was he really that arrogant?
Anyone who tries to claim that in South Pacific, Coach was this villainous cult leader and Ozzy was the heroic rebel fighting against him... shut up.
The truth is they were BOTH villains.
But unlike Boston Rob and Russell from RI who were brought back because of their strategic expertise at the game, neither Ozzy or Coach had a history of being all that smart when it came to the game, but they were brought back moreso for their bombastic characters. Of the two of them, only one of them actually evolved into a competent Survivor player with solid strategic and social moves, while the other just relied solely on his physical prowes and exploiting the safety net of the Redemption Island twist to get a cheap flashy win.
And he still lost to a 21 year old nerd.
Well said!
The thumbnail always kills me. The way it perfectly captures smug arrogance is hilarious.
0:51 that transition though
Ozzy is a great physical player, but his social game needed some major improvement
This changed my perception of him sm omg😭😭
Omfg a moment of clarity at the end
16:24 if Coach out of all people called you a narcissist, then you're a narcissist
I loved Ozzie. I feel like survivor has tried to bring in others like Joe and Malcolm to compare but Ozzie is an OG. Malcolm holds a special close second though. Joe is for the tiniboppers.
As an all around player, Malcolm was much better than Ozzy ever was. Ozzy lacked both social and strategic skills and was only really good at the physical side of Survivor. Malcolm had a good social, strategic, and physical game so I consider him the better player.
@@kingkatoonko2207 yeah Overall Malcom is the better player but Ozzy is the stronger stronger. Also Joe is Ridiculously Strong Physically. He's Easily over Malcom tbh. He's closer to Ozzy than Anyome Else. Well actually Boston Rob a 4 star physical player so idk. But Joe>Malcom
Joe is so much kinder than Oz, he has character
@@theimprobableone8635 Joe is far off from Ozzy and Malcolm I’m sorry. Both Ozzy and Malcolm have made it to the end of the game either being able to win out, be in the right alliance, and have somewhat of a social game with the right people. Joe hasn’t come close to the end (mostly due to his strong performance). If your looking for kindness anybody can be anybody in front of a tv screen. But hey just my opinion.
@@BostonStrong-yv1bi agreed, Joe was a strong player but he was never able to pull off a good performance. Both Malcolm and Ozzy have been very close to winning
I have absolutely no memory of Ozzy flipping them off at the next tribal after they vote him out lmao tbh I may have never even noticed it
8:39 😂 Queen of jury reactions
14:36 PARKOUR!
10:15 dude this girl looks sooooo bored lmao when she was laying in the hammock listening to Cochran tell his weird stories she was laughing and smiling etc. Says a lot.
He’s extremely entitled, but you have to admit he almost won twice. He would’ve won in Cook Islands if either the final 3 was a final 2 or if Yul didn’t have a god idol that lasted the whole game, since then he would’ve been able to vote Yul out. And he was one immunity away from winning South Pacific.
When it comes to Ozzy’s shenanigans and me mentality, not gonna lie, I don’t care I love it 👀😂
The scorpio is strong with this one; what "am not in control, how did that happen"
It was so satisfying to watch him get blindsided after he tried to make Eliza look like an idiot with that fake idol in Micronesia. Karma works. 😂
i always found ozzy's attitude to be haughty and arrogant and he isnt as smart as he is portrayed to be. overrated af
I have a feeling he doesn’t hate telling people what to do all the time. Classic control freak.
still one of my favourites, you have to consider the situation and current emotional state they are in during the time.
I heard that Ozzy and parv would occasionally hang out but they weren't like friends like that and they only occasionally hung out because they lived like one city over from each other
I think the Californian part of Parvati loved Ozzy but the southern Georgia part of Parvati wanted to vote him out.
Coach really surprised me in South Pacific he dropped the stupid antics and really played a smart game got screwed in the end.
He screwed himself in the end by not owning up to the way that he played that's all he had to do
The Jack and Jill episode is peak survivor. Everyone that won faking excitement (very poorly at that), Coach doing his whole ridiculous speech about how incredible the movie was, and Ozzie throwing a tantrum because he didn't get to go on probably the worst reward in Survivor history.
Please can you do 'Coach attempting to hug people."
"You're a little man."
"Screw you, basically"
I love Ozzy 🤣 favorite survivor ever
He was barely in game changers
Alternative title for this video:
Ozzy talking about providing for the tribe for 21 minutes
If Brandon hantz, coach and Jonathan penned find you entitled and rude, you might just be
Perhaps I was too young and naive to realize how Ozzy truly was but man, that dude is arrogant !!
We need Survivors talking about their dreams, I think that'd be priceless
14:47 - this whole rant cracks me up so fuckin much
14:36 - reminds me of something my 7 year old nephew would do, he's looks like an idiot 😂
Tell ya what, if this was real life, no cameras, chances are Ozzy would've been trussed up and roasted on a spit halfway through his description of all that food.
I'm a minute in and don't think any of that was "entitled" lol Ozzy wasn't so bad in Cook Islands honestly. It's every season after that, after he got to hear thousands of fans tell him how amazing he is constantly once Cook Islands aired. But telling people how to do stuff isn't really entitled..? Especially when he was like actively trying to not be rude about it or piss people off.
I actually borderline hate Ozzy lmao I can't even believe I'm defending him rn
yo but what if ozzy returns in heroes vs villains 2 as a hero or villain tho
They'd probably put them on the hero tribe but he really belongs on the villain tribe
I never watched the show and have just been watching clips to get the cliffs notes and I really wanted to go in liking Ozzy because frankly he's hot, but omg he acts like such a sulky baby when he doesn't get his way it's cracking me up lmao 😂😂
How did Parvati keep a straight face while he was throwing that tantrum at her 😂 Also, it just kills me poor Jason's little triumphant reaction that he briefly delayed his inevitable elimination 😂😂
OMG 9:00 I never noticed him giving the finger to them when he walked in as a juror hahaha this is hilarious what a little brat he is 😂😂
OMG re-watch ing some season James was such a bully
i agree. hes kinda funny but i dont get the hype.
Ok now i realize that the general public just had a huge crush on ozzy. Phew hes intolerable.
I haven't seen Game Changers but I know at the end of South Pacific he grew much more mature. He had the immature meltdown after they voted out Elyse, but after that he was the most mature in the Cochran situation from the Savaii tribe outside of Dawn, and at the final 4 and 5 while what he said about Sophie frustrated me, he would've won if he won the final immunity but like he said in the reunion, he just isn't meant to win survivor. Ozzy is meant to go far in Survivor, unless everything were to randomly click all at once he wouldn't win.
Still have a soft spot for Ozzy, he dominated in Cook Islands
So someone can be shitty as long as they're good at challenges?
Physically, anyway. He had no chance of getting to the end and winning without his immunity run.
He wasn’t shitty, this is basically a 21 minute propaganda video and you guys are eating it up. He’s aloof and a little cocky but the circle jerk around hating him is sad
@Smile! Oh yeah, but *dominated* is just misleading. Immunity runs are cool and all, but they can only get you so far in the game of Survivor.
I'd argue that he dominated the first half of Micronesia more. He dominated so much that Parvati only needed to vote him out and win the game.
I was rooting for Coach’s tribe over Ozzys in redemption.
What's funny to me is Jonathon played Ozzy's game in Survivor 42.
Yo quería ver a Ozzy como el ganador del millón de dólares y me sentí muy mal cuando perdió en la última competencia de inmunidad...
he's so bad, jesus 😂
Its so great to see Ozzy complain about Chochran, who is a Survivor winner. Something Ozzy never will be.
After watching Vanuatu and seeing the way Amy was so smug in voting out all the men it was kind of nice to see her get voted out in such a way
ozzy: virgo-est virgo to ever virgo
