Nice catch. The UK FM channels are often forgotten about. I remember during the peak of the last sunspot cycle 2011/2012 that ballpark..working stations in the UK on the UK FM frequencies. 27.89125 MHz FM (UK FM CH30), 27.90125 MHz FM (UK FM CH31), 27.91125 MHz FM (UK FM CH32), plus 27.97125 MHz FM (UK FM CH36) and many others. More recently, I’ve caught UK FM CB chatter on 27.78125 FM (UK FM CB CH19) and many others using handheld radios. I managed to catch a CADS / WPAS Irish parish church radio broadcast a few weeks ago using a PNI HP82 handheld CB on one of the UK FM channels…I believe it was UK FM CH7, frequency QRG 27.66125 MHz FM. There used to be church service on CB in Ireland on the FCC band's year's ago. 27.78125 that is the UK calling and mobile channel. About 20years ago I was on a beach on the Vendée coast in France and was talking to Irish station's near cork and I was using a midland 77-805 portapak
