guns in the lore: "hits like the sun, banned on sight, guardian killer, as dangerous to the wielder as its enemies" same gun in the game: 200 damage to a thrall.
I could see the guardian creating Crismon to be a sort of "better" version of it. He doesn't pretend it isn't directly inspired by Red Death which is why the vanguard doesn't acknowledge it. But since this guardian doesn't seem to be using it on other guardians and only on our enemies, he's trying to reshape the symbol it represents. It's previous form was used on humanity, but now the new version helps humanity without denying it's past.
I know we'd probably never see them in D2 but Abbadon and Nova Mortis should get a similar treatment Thunderlord got. Abbadon becomes capable of dealing with Unstoppable Champions thanks to its Ignition shots. Nova Mortis becomes capable of dealing with Anti Barrier Champions thanks to its Volatile rounds. Both working the same way. Land 11(ish?) shots on a target and the effects take place. Catalysts working how Thunderlords does.
If they brought back Nova Mortis and Abbadon, they should have intrinsic anti-champion mods like Thunderlord. Nova Mortis would have anti-barrier while Abbadon would have anti-unstoppable
Monte Carlo has a bayonet and is finally usable, Crimson is bayonetted hand cannon but the bayonet is probably a bit useless, pls give the returning Red Death access to bayonet melee.
My theory is that Crimson was somehow found/created by our guardian. Other lore tabs talk about other people in third person, or (if it's first person) we somehow know to whom text is addressed. Crimson lore tab feels too personal, like conversation was with our Ghost. So for me, Crimson is the weapon of the players Guardian.
I remember when doing Presage back in Chosen, there was a partocular quote saying that there hasn't been any mentions of this weapon being in production and it's a prototype. I wonder if that layed as as base for Spire of the Watcher weapons?
We need the two thunderload variants Imagine how OK, machine go that scorches and ignites targets would be and how well it would synergize this season.
The cool thing about red death was the white witch weapon ornament for the weapon too where it's white and the bloody part of it being on there is actually moving around though It was so awesome to watch the effects of it happening inside the video game even if I did not like it The weapon ornament is indeed an awesome thing to be in a video game that one theme that's off of the god of war video game being as an themed thing is way too 😎 looking at it from a stand point of view yes
in the lore tab of mida multi-tool weapon, zavala said " I won't confiscate the Red Death engrams" meaning that the red death was distributed throughout the vanguard and was not strictly prohibited but probably just discouraged
I definitely feel that. Though with the buff hand cannons have had recently, I feel nerfing Crismon probably stopped it from being a one burst one kill type deal.
@@MegaDrain most definitely it sounds snobbish but I feel like I have to work a tad harder in Crucible with the crimson than I used to, up close it’s been a monster as usual but at let’s say medium ish range now it feels like a pea shooter
If red death came back as an auto rifle and got the Monte Carlo treatment so we could finally use the bayonet, I’d reinstall D2 just for that experience
I'm not sure if your comment is sarcasm but if it's not, the Winterbite was left lodged in the haul of the Exodus ship that brought the founders of Neomuna to Neptune when they were attacked by something, possibly a Tormentor.
I'd like to hear lore about The Last Word and it's wielder Shin Malfur (I hope that's the correct name). I've always wondered what became of him? Seeing we have his gun he could be presumed as dead or missing. Could he still be out there somewhere???
We have I think two lore books in game about Shin and his life. One with his upbringing and one regarding his constant fight with dredgen yor. Also he's canonically still alive hunting other Dredgen.
He gave us the last word in d2 after we killed the Hive weapon crafter that made Necrochasm, I think Shin stepped down and allowed us to take up the mantle of hunting corrupted Guardians
Dude, that thunderlord counterpart stuff sounds epic. Really wish we had that in D2 (never played D1) but I suppose Xenophage and Deterministic Chaos are pretty nice counterparts. Also, as a writer, I now have some great inspiration for a plot! 😄
guns in the lore: "hits like the sun, banned on sight, guardian killer, as dangerous to the wielder as its enemies"
same gun in the game: 200 damage to a thrall.
Same with master chief/Arbiter and plasma weapons in Halo. Both are heavily nerfed in gameplay.
it never said it could kill any pve enemies

99% sure I heard somewhere that crimson is made from old pieces of the red death so the gaurdian could survive without the light during the red war

bring back nova moris and abbadon, then add strand stasis + yet unnamed 3rd darkness subclass versions, for maximum silliness
I would be all for it and bungie have an easy exotic to make as its mostly a reskin.
@@BloodDragoon They deserve a second chance.
Deterministic Chaos basically is a reskin of Nova Mortis and it sucks ass
Red death is made from a banned prototype auto rifle in circulation at the crucible called Red specter.
You would need to play d1 to know.
Red Spectre was so much fun
I couldn’t care if the Crimson’s sole purpose was to kill baby orphaned manatees it’s still my favorite gun in Destiny.
Who else here just realized the red death reformed is just the other concept art for the red death from d1??????
God I can't wait to use red death again. It's certainly gonna be great for solar builds.
It’s coming back?
@@davidstuffleben7889 Yes as in one of the interviews for TFS Bungie said it's returning as a solar weapon
Red Death, first exotic I got in D1, served me well in the suros war. I miss it

the Fallen Sunstar is a good one, it sort of explains how exotic armor gain their powers
I thought the red death was based on the galahad/ shadow price platform
Destiny we made dangerous forbidden weapons
Warframe Holdbny beer💀
I wonder if the skulls on the red death symbolises the number of guardian kills made by the crazed guardian
Honestly people hate the weapon but I love it my most used by far but if you'd do a Worldline zero lore in a video thatd be awesome!
Red death is still to this day my absolute favorite d2 weapon
Can’t wait for read death to come back with a Monte Carlo like catalyst

in the lore tab of mida multi-tool weapon, zavala said " I won't confiscate the Red Death engrams" meaning that the red death was distributed throughout the vanguard and was not strictly prohibited but probably just discouraged
This implies that in a lore standpoint engrams aren't just rng and were all being scammed
@@ZirkyPlaysmaster rahool has to keep his job in some kind of way just like in d1 exotic engrams could turn into legendary or rare weapons and armor
POV: you’re here after bungie put red death reformed in D2
Next lore video should be Exotics that should never be allowed in The Crucible. Things like Thorn, Red Death, so on
Fun Fact: Skyburners oaths flavor text used to say "Victory or Death"
Thunder lord made me shed a tear bruh
I got crimson three days ago and its kinda cool
It would be cool if they made it craftable and that was the changeable bit of it
Always hoped that they bought the nova mortis and abaddon bk since thunderlord came bk.
The bayonet went to the Monte Carlo so they changed it from a pulse rifle to a hand cannon creating crimson for 2
Yeeeesss, Crimson, my beloved
Its been 10 years and theres so many questions about the most basic aspects of the game. I think that's really a bad thing.
If red death returns, its catalyst better let us use the bayonet. Lol
They should bring the Red death into D2 and give it the same effect as monte carlos, where get enough kills, and use it like a Glave.
Red death is coming in final shape
Is it just me or did The Crimson get nerfed

I want the fire version of the thundergun thingy in destiny 2 because in my hands that would be a giant destructive Cannon😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Like 90% sure the red death was modified from the red spectre legendary autorifle

I use Crimson. One tap killer and reloads itself.
Last Word outguns it
how do i get red death in destiny 2
