As someone who loves KoRn’s songs, this one hits home for me. Probably because Nightmare Before Christmas is a fantastic stop motion film to begin with. And most of the songs in said film are great.

Ahh... Nightmare fuel; the very reason why we can't decide to stay awake, or go to sleep at night... if we sleep, we have nasty nightmares traumatizing us the next day. If we stay up, we become paranoid, until the next day, realizing that it (Could be) fantasy. what we don't know, are the *Reasons* why we fear these monstrosities; by that, i mean why we choose to fear these things, because the next night, you repeat this cycle, forcing you into a spiral of insanity falling between Reality and Mentality...
