Thank you for doing that. Even if you said 50% I would of been cool with it, but really. Good on you for actually making a difference.
Pancake! Thats what panromantic asexuals often refer to themselves as 😄 Also Squish! Thats basically an aroace (aromantic asexual) word for like, a friend crush. A little more than a friend, sort of like a crush, but also not romantic cause romantic attraction isn't a thing :'D
i really love gay slang taken from polari! i learnt it when i got really interested in gay history after watching pride! it's really lovely and fun to use so i recommend looking it up
Also I'd love to give you more info on bisexual slang! We make up approx 50% of the LGBTQI+ community, though you'd never know it. We're too queer for the straight community and too straight for a lot of the gay and lesbian community. I've been out for 27 years and things have changed massively overall for the LGBTQI+ community. But for those of us who aren't monosexual the same prejudices and biases are still very much apparent. Marrying a man, although one who is also bisexual themselves, means we're made extremely unwelcome in queer spaces, gay bars etc. But in nominally straight bars, pubs and around the community it feels like we have no option but to keep quiet about our sexuality, even with family and friends. At least my husband's family and friends anyway, I got outed and queer-bashed at school in Yorkshire at age 13, then outed and queer-bashed again at my new school 6 weeks later when word spread across the several small towns between the schools. That experience didn't stop me from being bisexual, in fact it's a big part of why I'm an advocate for the community in my own city and online. Being Autistic makes hiding pretty much anything about myself a massive issue, though with decades of practice I improved my ability to keep my trap shut when absolutely necessary. I hope you do another video like this next year for Pride too!
As an ace person here's some basic ace and aro slang and terms: * Ace and aro is shorthand for asexual and aromantic. It suprises me how many people don't know that. Ace and aro are often considered more umbrella terms while asexual and aromantic can be specific identities * Allo is also shorthand for allosexual, also known as zsexual (as in A to Z), which is a person who experiences sexual attraction * Squash/Squish is one of the main Asexual slang terms meaning a platonic crush * Zucchini is a term for your closest friendship(s), a person or people you may want to live with or have a non-romantic, non-sexual partnership with * Cake is indeed also a term in the ace and aro community. It's a joke, a meme, and generally a term for "better than sex". Like ace and aro people may not like men or women but we sure do like cake

But because of the biphobia that pervades tumblr a lot of antibisexual people will force these terms on bi people and tell them they cant use butch and femme which is historically inaccurate like both groups used it. And a lot of people can get insulted because they feel theyre being compared to animals specifically animals that mate a lot with various partners. Like i dont mind the terms but thats the background for you
@@MeganOrourkepotatoedragonme To add on to the part about these terms having the potential tp be name calling; These terms are specifically referring to white bi women, because referring to people of colors as animals is not okay. The more you know
@@fluentlysad825 sorry could expand? Im a bit confused are you saying these terms are used specifically asked white bi women or that they should be?
@@fluentlysad825 cuz just idk if thats what you meant but you shouldnt compare a human being to an animal especially not if its because of their sexuality
honestly that last bit is so true. do we really need these labels? probably not. but theyre fun and make people happy so i hope we make a million of them
Literally as soon as Jacob said "Gillette Blade" I got a pop up bar ad for Gillette. Nice job guys
Fish and chips is the same as a lavender marriage
Honestly, this is one of the most ace positive videos I've seen around that isn't by an ace person and we're very happy to be mentioned
Oh hey! That last second Ace (asexual) representation 🎂
Greyt addition for the video HAH HAH HAH kill me.
Asexual Slang: "Squish"
It's like a crush, but you don't want to have sex with them, you just want to spend lots of time with someone and be their friend.
Yeah, reproduction is irrelevant
tomska said gay rights...
.... In a way that matters....
I love how Tom doesn't think all this slang is about sex just because it's gay, he thinks every type of slang all the time is about sex
No one:
Literally no one:
Big corporations: I too am a homosexual being
Guess I’m Tomgender now
Ace slang (unofficially written by me)
horizontal mambo - sex
Dragons and cake: perfectly normal things to be interested in (and *totally* not obsessed with)
Space ace, dragon ace, cake ace, etc: types of aces based on personality.
Ya know. When I saw the shirt I thought "Oh look! Someone else trying to cash in on pride for monetary gain!"
But you made 100% of the proceeds go to something that actually helped. Thank you for doing that.
Even if you said 50% I would of been cool with it, but really. Good on you for actually making a difference.
Pancake! Thats what panromantic asexuals often refer to themselves as 😄
Also
Squish! Thats basically an aroace (aromantic asexual) word for like, a friend crush. A little more than a friend, sort of like a crush, but also not romantic cause romantic attraction isn't a thing :'D
i really love gay slang taken from polari! i learnt it when i got really interested in gay history after watching pride! it's really lovely and fun to use so i recommend looking it up
Lmao my dad is keeping me from pride tomorrow to go golfing Hahahahaha i'm gonna jump off the roof
For real though, its nothing too special. Its nice to have a safe space, mind you, but that's all it is.
Enjoy Pride! Hope you won't have any trouble!
@@peterhernandez5377 yeah but id rather go have an awesome day with my gf and pals than play golf with my homophobic grandpa
@@neilyworm just say "i'm gay" every time he opens his mouth
@@theredvelveteer4721 hahaha i wish i could but my grandpa'd wack me with a golf club
this made me watch rupaul's drag race so thank you jacob.

Tom: I want a nice bowl of conflama...
Jacob: Me too...
Tom: *realizing his mistake* uh oh

Some bi slang that I actually learned from my parents funnily enough
"We are disappointed in you and we have no son"
No idea what that means
He's got a nice basket!
Yass!
Damn near killed me the way that transition worked
Am I a lesbian? Yes!
Does some boy in school have a crush on me? Yes!
*H E L P*
I watched it again after the last #content and noticed the coughing toad. Oh, Elliot, you silly
When a mostly straight channel does a video on lgbt+
Me:FINALLY
What I love is that I’m asexual and without realising whenever anyone asks me what I or anyone else likes my response is 100% of the time just “cake”
I love the Crash Zoom poster in the back!!
I'm lesbian so yeah now I want one of those shirts

Lord Byron in the 17th Century? Dude really was an immortal vampire.
“Frock”
“That’s gay”
Unikitty fans: That, is right
LMAO SO IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT OF THE FROCK SHIP

I love that slight bit of ace representation!
I'm taking all the shirts
they're mine now >:)
As an ace person here's some basic ace and aro slang and terms:
* Ace and aro is shorthand for asexual and aromantic. It suprises me how many people don't know that. Ace and aro are often considered more umbrella terms while asexual and aromantic can be specific identities
* Allo is also shorthand for allosexual, also known as zsexual (as in A to Z), which is a person who experiences sexual attraction
* Squash/Squish is one of the main Asexual slang terms meaning a platonic crush
* Zucchini is a term for your closest friendship(s), a person or people you may want to live with or have a non-romantic, non-sexual partnership with
* Cake is indeed also a term in the ace and aro community. It's a joke, a meme, and generally a term for "better than sex". Like ace and aro people may not like men or women but we sure do like cake
Happy Pride Month everyone!

I love how he is so down to earth

Yoo nice pfp!

Gay Air Conditioner thank you 😊. Just a doodle I did ages ago. Fricken love em too 👌🏽
My personal favorite ace slang is Squish=a platonic crush.
I just came home from Pride, so yay
I’m so glad I finally found a candid video of Jacob. I’ve seen him in your videos, along with Jack and dean, and always wanted to know about him
