Life After Death Hasn't Been Fun, But I'm Still Going!

- So after a few challenges over the past 2 years, I've finally taken a step in a direction I chose haha. In 2021 I had a massive heart attack, commonly known as a Widow maker. The heart stopped for just over a minute, and I was revived and given some upgrades at the hospital. This was followed by a family seperation and a house fire, and most recently my best friend of 30 years passed away from Cancer. So I've been struggling.
Needless to say, this has taken a bit of a toll on every aspect of my life. But it hasn't quite stopped me yet. I hope this is a step in the right direction. While it has many challenges involved in itself, I am hoping the positives will more than make up for those.

Life... it hands some of us a load of carp all the time. I've often had to repeat many times a day a Winston Churchill quote that says "If you're going through hell, keep going." I wish you better days and good things from now through 2024.

That´s the beauty of creation, no matter how bad things can be, creativity always can make you forget all for a moment. Being positive also helps, it´s difficult, but always helps in terms of health

Thank you. It's quite a lovely space, the contrast is slightly lessened now that I'm getting some gear in there. But it's still a very cool place to be. Slowly becoming a home.

Hey Shawn. When you’ve sunk to the very bottom the only way is up. My doctor once said to me: “Life is like crossing a vast sea. Some people sail through it in luxurious yachts, never weathering a storm. And then there are others. Those whose boats are always damaged, constantly pounded with furious storms who survive only by bailing out their boats and making repairs as they go. In the end they both reach the same destination. But who is truly richer because of their experiences? Not monetary wealth but something much more meaningful and valuable. I admire your strength and perseverance. I have dealt with my fair share of tragedy. I have suffered with chronic pain and illness my entire adult life. Just when I start to feel well something else comes along. Recently I’ve had a lot of problems with my nerves and muscles. Constant trembling, twitching, spasms and cramping. Dropping things uncontrollably. It looks as though I may have MS.That’s on top of the Spinal Stenosis and Auto Immune Disease I already have. As you may know I’ve shared quite a bit of my journey with you and although I’ve been wanting to start up my own channel I keep having health issues which force me to put it off. I know one thing though. As hard as everything is tomorrow is another day. And if you can keep bailing your boat out and repairing it, there will come a day where it will be smooth sailing again. Good luck mate.

Don't be worried the space you got isn't some "clean shed" - This is way, way cooler! Just my opinion I guess, but what an awesome place. Looking forward to more.
Really happy for you Shawn, it is extremely important to have your own space to work, even if it is a damned toilet in the beginning. Eventually it will be transformed to something that really meets your needs and is cozy for you. And by the way, looking closely at all those small details that this building has to offer, you can get huge inspiration on your future industrial terrain builds. Cheers.

Remove sugar and seed oils from your diet. And remove as many carbs and processed foods as possible. And do some lifting or HIIT. Going to lower your risk of more heart problems severely.

Any idea what caused the heart attack? Thats terrifying, but i am glad you are okay.
Thank you. Stress perhaps. I wasn't exactly unhealthy, and at 42 it blindsided me completely.
