That brush was the first brush I started with 9 years ago and I used it exclusively for about 3 years before the handle broke, at the time I was only face lathering. I replaced it with a similar brush the Omega 10049 and I still have it today. I suggest you give it a good shampoo a few times before using it to clean it and reduce animal smell. You can then optionally follow it up with a quick break-in procedure over 3days to a week, alternatively you can just use it and let it break-in naturally over time.👍🤠
@C G Hi, it's been quite a while (at least 5 years) since I had the 10098 brush but I think the big knot is virtually the same as one in 10049, so other than the handle they should feel very similar.
@C G The cost of living here is also going up quicker than I can keep up with, I will need to stop purchasing shaving gear altogether soon, luckily I have accumulated a stockpile of gear over the last 4 years that will keep me going for a few lifetimes.😁
does it shed bad? all my boar brushes have always been bad at shedding. after a year id still get bristles on my face and in my shave bowl all the time
