I appreciate how you guys are not pretentious. Your excitement over the Mountain Dew mural was my favorite part.
"Uranus is expanding, please excuse the mess" Bwa ha ha ha ha.
Loving this road trip thanks for all you guys do.
Best Rte 66 road trip travelog on UA-cam.
Strange how this starts out with the eerie wholesomeness of Precious Moments and ends with the oblique Uranus references. You covered it all.
The best way to start the day...a huge cup of coffee and Adam The Woo!
sharon rynes i can't argue with that point. its starts the day with a nice smile.
That Precious Moments Chapel was incredible! Who knew it existed!
This trip is just amazing. Can't thank you and Jacob enough for taking us along for the ride. Love the attractions and your one of a kind commentary, Adam.😁😄👍
How could anyone thumbs down this vlog? A pretty good one I think. Goodness abounds and happy trails.
Just a few butt hurt losers .
I am loving your Route 66 journey!! You and Jacob make a great team!! Love the old school signs and buildings!! So many wonderful memories from the past!! Thanks!! Have a magestic Monday!!
The fudge place needs t-shirts that say: "I went to The Fudge Factory in Uranus". LOL
@5:39
Whoa I didn’t expect that
I live about 10 minutes from the chapel, it's quite the hidden diamond. Unfortunately it will never become what what Sam Butcher had planned for the area.
Chris Evans i wonder why ? oh wait , its hideous.
It seems like a waste of effort to put that much work into art based on simple doll children.
Adam, thank you so much for making it into Kansas! You were in the county my dad was born and raised in. He and I are going back there this summer for his high school reunion. He graduated 61 years ago.
"Why do they call you crazy legs"........awkward silence.
This Route 66 journey is awesome! Thanks Adam!
Its 2020 and im just now seeing this trip of course i heard about it on other videos. Yes im loving it!
The Precious Moments Museum is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.
My Grandmother had a collection of Precious Moments and would have LOVED that museum. When she passed all of us grandkids got a few peices of her collection.
It used to be much better. Mr. Butcher had a great dream - but moved away and it became “out of sight out of mind”. At one time they had a beautiful wedding chapel, a dancing waters show, and special music. There was a time when we wouldn’t think of going back to Galena, KS without a trip to the chapel. Yes - I grew up in Galena, KS and actually lived just off Route 66 and the Missouri/Kansas stateliness.
I live in Carthage and it’s not what it use to be
I visited the Precious Moments Museum 20 years ago and loved it . It’s so sad that it has been somewhat ignored since the figurines are not as collectible as they were in the 1970s-2000.
Great to see you in Galena, KS! I live at the South end of town! Your route66 road trip, is invigorating the spirits, of many people. You both are so much fun... Love you guys!!
You were born to entertain us with this talent you have. My days are brighter now As I can look forward to riding with you every morning Just like old times. Thanks Adam I do appreciate you
We've been to Precious Moments a few times. It is one of the most tranquil
places a person could visit. If you need a relaxing and quiet vacation, go there.
I live in Missouri and never heard of Uranus! Plan on going on that trip one of these days! Thanks for showing me what I’ve been missing!
Tamara Figge same! I’ll have to visit it now too
It’s on 44
Its outside of St Robert/Waynesville
Great video!
Love the Precious Moments Chapel! So beautiful!
I could cry! You and Jacob are in my state now!
I hope that one day my husband and I will get to meet you both!
You are probably passing through our old "stomping grounds" today, somewhere near Bourbon/Cuba/Sullivan/Stanton Missouri.
Safe travels to you & Jacob.
God bless you both with many more amazing travels!!!
The very end... when you pulled your hoodie strings so tight, it kinda looked like Ura..... eh, nevermind.
Random Nobody tight 👍🏼
HEHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
How do you know what his anus looks like?
Who knew Route 66 had so many side attractions after the fact. I'm not a Precious Moments person but the Cathedral was awesome as well as the rest stop. Thanks boys for another fantastic journey. Safe travels. 😎
It’s cold in Uranus.
at least the fudge wasn't frosted over.
Ali McCollum, ah yes. Thanks to these guys, today will be one of those days where I snicker at all the inappropriate times.
It takes a special kind of woman to be willing to let loose and experience the fun of Uranus. :D
I always thought it would be warm lol
THANK SO VERY MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DO! I have been having a really rough time lately health wise and life wise. You and Jacob gave me some much need laughter and fun today. I was almost afraid the heart monitor people would call to check on me cause I laughed so hard lol. Thank you guys and keep up spreading the fun and adventures!
Great stuff as always Adam. Loved the Precious Moments Chapel and the throwback Steak n Shake. But(t) of course we can't forget about your visit to Uranus. Continued safe travels to you and Jacob.
OMG, Adam that was beautiful, thanks for sharing the adventure!

Enjoying the Route 66 Vlogs. Nobody does it like Adam the Woo!
Adam I have been enjoying these daily vlogs. Loving you and Jacob, watch both of your vlogs. Stay warm, it’s almost 100 here in Az.
Thank you so much for posting these awesome videos, Adam. I enjoy watching them so much.😊God bless you and Jacob! 🙏
Greetings from Aberdeen, WA🌲
Loved this video, you discovered so many quirky, cool things!!!!! Thanks for posting.
This city of Pitcher was deemed a superfund site due to lead contamination in the soil and groundwater from the improper disposal of mining waste (that's the short answer anyway). My aunt taught there for many years. There was also an issue with the town sinking from the mining hole/tunnels under the town.
Really enjoying your trip! Keep those vids coming
Hope you have a good warm coat. It's gonna get colder!
I’m surprised you didn’t stop in Joplin since it is one of the towns listed in the famous Route 66 song. I am happy to see these videos. The husband and I traveled the Route for our honeymoon. We made it just on the east side of Arizona (starting from Webb City, Mo where we lived) before we had to turn back. We have loved seeing all of the same sights in your videos!!
That chapel reminded me of a Precious Moments coloring book when I was younger.
Coming from Kokomo,Indiana...
Thank you for saving me a lot of money by taking me on the "Disney" trips and the sight seeing trips around the country..saving all this money on traveling..I was able to buy a "Hitchcock Would Be Proud" t-shirt..!!!
Man! I can’t believe we missed you! Me and my dad were trying to wait at the drive in to meet you guys 😂
Amelia cohen , I wish they would make a come back here in GA. I love drive in movies .
Amelia cohen they probably did see you and turned around quickly
@@bonniebrown6960 Tullahoma, TN has a drive in

Your videos are great Adam- Really brings back memories
Enjoying every minute guys....looking forward to the rest of the journey x
The vlog trip gets better and better! Definitely can't wait to see the next day! I'll be sad when the trip ends.

I always wanted to go to that chapel ,I used to collect them .. thank you so much for showing. Looked so cute there !!
Love your travels!!
2:13 in, I Love Country like this!
Nice storage building to your right at the very end. Great videos of your trip. I like seeing the old Pepsi signs. I used to drink RC cola once in awhile back in the day, it tastes pretty good. Tasted pretty similar to Pepsi back when they still used cane sugar in it.
I'm enjoying this road trip. Thank you
Cool to see you pass Springfield all they way through Waynesville and see all these places I go to all the time
You are so happy. Makes my heart smile. Thanks for the last 6 years.
Loving these videos so much!
That was one of the funniest "Vlog Over" endings with your hoodie closure. 🤣
I am a trucker, and have been to Uranus Missouri. The bill boards are too good not to stop. There is one billboard that says big fun in Uranus, and the cop car there says to serve and protect Uranus.
11:28 Uranus is expanding. Please excuse the mess. XD
John Hanna someone's gotta wipe it up
I saw that....lol
Wow! I am really not a collector of Precious Moments. I have a few of them. But that museum is a must see with the paintings and stain glass. Must see that place when I go through. That rest stop’s theming with the picnic pavilions are really cute. The little buildings and the road. Then the name of that roadside attraction, Uranus, I would not be able to keep a straight face going there. 😂😂😂.
That Mountain Dew mural would make for a great HDR photo. Classic!
Haha! 'Nailing the snow'. Loving your sense of humour Adam the Woo. Iv been watching all your vids on the route 66 journey. A couple of friends did this a few yr back and i was intrigued by what sort of interesting things they may have experienced. I wish i was on this journey with you as it looks great fun. Cheers from Deb in Newcastle, England.xxxx
They are named that because it is in the city of Uranus Missouri. One of their slogans is "The best fudge is made in Uranus".
Just watched this from my seat on the Amtrak. Came from Niagara Falls headed to NYC, then down to Disney for my birthday. Then the Keys and Pigeon Forge then home. Thanks for in inspiration you two.
I know this is old but i gotta say that sounds like an awesome trip. What was your favorite part. It all sounds good
OMG, I just found this video. I loved Radiator Springs, but when you went to Uranus, I lost it laughing. Sooo darn funny! 👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Froggle Rock!ha That precious building inside themeing was total 70s so rad!
Really enjoying these! Morn' Adam!
Uranus? The fire truck was really interesting. But, the cherub and stained glass windows was like a wonderland. I always had an RC and a Moon-pie as a kid!! Very cool to watch this video Adam!
We learned so much about Uranus thanks Adam
I LOVED that Sinclair dinosaur. I had a little plastic one as a kid
You just crack me up! Thanks so much for the laughter. 💜
Wow. That was really cool. That precious moments place would get me in trouble if I had the money lol! I was driving this morning from the hospital to go to my dad's house for a few minutes (He's in the hospital for a gallbladder they think) and the song "Get your kicks at Route 66" came on the radio. I can't wait to see more. Have a good day you two. Safe travels and thank you for everything you do. 🙂😎
Thanks for showing us Uranus Adam! 👌
Steak & Shake is my favorite burger chain.... love those burgers and shakes, and we don't have them here in Minnesota, so I eat them whenever I travel.... which isn't often enough. You lucky dogs !
crazy legs!!! 😱😱😱
Tim Romero I like how he didn't hesitate one moment to move that crazy leg..😂
Awesome too see things you pass everyday on here !!!! .. Loved the video
You were in Springfield the same time we were down there this weekend! Hope you enjoyed Springfield and the rest of our state!!! Safe travels!
I enjoyed watching day 9 of the Route 66 road trip. 👍
wow. that chapel is beautiful. Awestruck!
Mater had 55 Chevy truck front fenders and chassis, an International Harvester Cab.....Holmes 210 tow rig from the 1940s... YOU are half correct Mr Carpetbagger....
Have a great evening Adam.👍
DUDES! That Steak & Shake is just a half mile from where I live! And it's pronounced "TakeHomeASack" I would have loved to meet you two!
Bill Osborne I'm from Springfield also.
Keep up the great work Adam
VERY GOOD AS USUAL ADAM
Right by the Precious Moments Center there's a complex of several cold storage companies - all entirely underground and trucks drive around underground to reach them...
awesome trip down the Mother road and memory lane.
Staying on the edge of insanity has never been more fun.Rock on
Wow. Soo Exciting you guys were just a couple miles from our house in Joplin, Mo. Safe Travels We Love ya guys!!
I remember when Central Florida had Steak-n-Shake stores which looked like the one in your video, complete with carhops. At some point in the late 70s, a bunch of them were either razed or turned into Grandy's.
Yes, I'm old.
Great vlog Adam enjoyed it.
Mader looks really excited to see ya !!
Great video and an actual town call Uranus
Hi Adam, Now you're traveling near my old stomping grounds. I grew up 30 miles north of Baxter Springs KS. The town of Pitcher OK was closed because of mining contamination. The piles of rock that you drove by are waste from underground lead and galena mining (galena is a mineral). The dust from the waste piles is highly toxic. Hope you didn't breathe deep while you traveled through. Actually takes years of exposure to be at risk, so the town had to be closed. It is said that you can fly a small plane through the mines underground from Cherokee KS to Pitcher OK and never touch anything. That's how mined out the ground is that you are driving over.
I mentioned before how you would find the southern Missouri towns very interesting.
And don't forget Silver Dollar City- a Hillbilly theme park in business since the 1960's. Maybe you can find the forgotten and abandoned parts of Silver dollar City. It was a tourist attraction when Branson MO was just a wide spot in the road. There are towns in Missouri where you literally feel like you go back in time 100 years when you visit there. Northwest Missouri also is interesting. Enjoy!
We love the way you revel in small town america
That was so weird and cool. Can't imagine how much it cost to build that place.
Love how u showed the road at the rest stop
Great series Adam!!!!!
Take-Home-A-Sack, I really miss that place!
You’re in my home state! This was a great video! Glad to see you enjoying the parts of Route 66 that I’m familiar with
Love this. We still have an active drive in, in Belfair WA named, Rodeo Drive-in. They do have a website.
Uranus Fudge? There’s a joke in there somewhere, but I’m too PG to tell it...
Adventures by George 😁
I think the naming convention of the fudge place is the joke. Not sure you need to explain it. :)
Adventures by George Shame they don’t sell lemonade as well.
Also you’d think that the Fudge sign would be located near the back door.
Adventures by George i think its pointing to the fact that the main usage of an anus is expelling waste that some people say looks like fudge. its all very nasty and not funny unless you have an IQ below say 60 .
