OMG!!! You are in Oklahoma!! I was waiting for you to get to this part of Route 66! I wish I could have met you while you were here! You were so close, I'm just an hour from Tulsa in Muskogee!! I hope your trip was awesome and interesting!
Glad you made it through my neck of the woods - even though it was during a cold snap in April nonetheless! Love Pops and the Blue Whale been there many times myself :)
This trip is so amazing. Love the places you and Jacob have been visiting, Adam. The people seem to be very friendly. YES, we SHALL join you. You are so witty. Great adventures with a good friend...🚎👍👌🚑🚑
Amy Lynn He was born in Meherrin,VA. Only 20 mins from me. He lived here until he was 11yrs old and the family's moved to Washington DC. From there, he lived in different places. I'm curious to know when he moved to Oklahoma. I've always enjoyed his picking.
Resell Mel Yes, he was born in Meherrin, VA., you are right to clarify that. Then they lived in Washington, DC where he performed in his dad's band until he made it into the the Grand Ole Opry at the age of 17. Even though, he has moved around quite a bit for his career, including his own show in Branson, MO in the early 80s, I say that he's from Tulsa because he's lived here the longest. Roy and Barbara, his wife of almost 50 years, have made their home in Tulsa nearly 40 years. There is a school named after him in the Union School District and he remains actively involved with the children who attend Roy Clark Elementary. He was inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame in 2011. He also came to Muskogee, where I live, 2 years ago to perform at our Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Yes, they still have a house there.
Amy Lynn thank you so much for all the information. My dad was a huge fan and I first heard Roy's music from hee-haw. My dad watched that show religiously. We use to run to the living room and sit on the floor as kids and sing along. Great memories!
11:12, Good thing they blocked the ladders, wouldn't want someone whom fell in the water by accident to be able to save themselves by using the ladders to escape the water.
It used to be a swiming area but they closed it in the 80s because of the lead paint used on the blue whale. There are many signs that say no swimming or fishing.
So glad he went to the Blue Whale and Oklahoma’s popular land marks. If you ever get the chance Adam you should go to totem pole park or the J.M Davis gun museum.
I really enjoyed these separate videos that you and Jacob did, man! They were great! I love whenever you and Mr.Jacob travel places together, It's very enjoyable. Y'all are two good guys.
So, cool to go all the way through the Route 66, Santa Monica to Chicago Adventure & being able to focus on them this time. Great way to spend Junteenth!
Hope you enjoyed Oklahoma. Pops Round Barn Root Beer is no joke I love that place. Rumor is the barn is round because the devil can't pin you in a corner. Was hoping you would stop off at Johns place he is a nice guy known him for years. Nice to see the Tulsa Driller and the Catoosa Blue Whale. Nice work Adam come again.
Keep it going Adam and keep it real! Love all your videos esp. the Route 66 ones. It's like my daily t.v. show for the next week or so... love the vintage diners. Keep on truckin' or ridin... whatever!
thank you Adam, very interesting historical places you are showing us on this trip , its a historically great mix while getting your kicks on route 66.
This new vlog 'series' or 'adventure' down Route 66 is honestly very very interesting. Keep this up Adam! You give such an amazing energy in a great way.
Love this! And... speaking of "the town", you will also be passing through the small town of "St. Cloud", Missouri on your journey! I lived a few stone throws from there a few years ago! In the 1970's, my sister and her husband operated two motels just off of Route 66. They were near Stanton, Mo. I was a kid, and I remember a storage shed on the property that was FULL of Coca Cola signs and trays. I remember staring in the windows with awe and amazement at the beauty of it all! Precious memories! :) Safe travels to you & Jacob.
Fantastic got to see some of my old stopping places. Use go swimming at the blue whale in 71 and I live down the street from the rock cafe as they ha e great B & G years ago. Was great to see some of the old areas.
Adam you seem so happy these days. Towards the end of you doing Daily Vlogs you could tell you were unhappy, tired and just seemed to be not feeling it anymore. Your intros and endings went from Tigger to Eeyore in a sense. However since stopping that, taking a break and refocusing you seem to be back to being the old Adam that we all know and love with all that spunk, energy and goofiness. I never stopped loving anything you did but I'm glad you seem to be enjoying what you do again. Thank you so much for entertaining us and letting us tag along on your adventures! Please keep up the great work!
I am loving the journey & enjoying seeing all of the towns you guys are travelling through. Wow the blue whale was something, I can feel someone from Health & Safety over here in the U.K. getting a sweat on watching you climb over it 😂
Gave up soda well over 6 months ago but MOXIE was my favorite!! A gem from Maine and Vermont and they have a Moxie festival every year that you guys should go to Adam!
I hate ice on my windshield like that. That round barn has been there for a long many years. I sure miss being there. Have fun guys and thanks for your iconic vlongs. Drive safely.

Finally stopped to watch your new video. I have been doing some exploring of my own today. Went to Soloman’s Castle in Florida. Very cool place! I see that you found another interesting museum. Herbie the Love Bug busting out of the side of the building and you get to sit in it too. That’s cool 👍. I can’t wait to go on Route 66! There are so many interesting places to visit.
I enjoy viewing your adventure on Route 66 with the Carpetbagger as your companion, Great due. I would like to one day drive all the way from LA to Chicago and explore interesting road side attractions. Keep up the good work Adam!! 🚙🏞🌄🌃👍

8:56 Roy Clark, one of the stars of Hee Haw and one of the best pickers in the world, is from Tulsa, OK. He still has a house there. He's my cousin!
Amy Lynn He was born in Meherrin,VA. Only 20 mins from me. He lived here until he was 11yrs old and the family's moved to Washington DC. From there, he lived in different places. I'm curious to know when he moved to Oklahoma. I've always enjoyed his picking.
I didn't know he still had a house there.

11:12, Good thing they blocked the ladders, wouldn't want someone whom fell in the water by accident to be able to save themselves by using the ladders to escape the water.
Brett that's exactly what I was thinking! Doesn't seem to make any sense
It used to be a swiming area but they closed it in the 80s because of the lead paint used on the blue whale. There are many signs that say no swimming or fishing.
