I bought the Pitaka Pro, hate it, wish I could return it. Got this Benks Air and absolutely love it. One of the best cases I’ve ever owned, finally get to feel the form of the phone itself not a bulky case, and have a mild sense of protection at least to avoid scratches and back glass breaking. Definitely needs a screen protector. The magnets are unbelievably strong for such a thin case. This is a winner.
Running this case for a few weeks now. Found it more comfortable than the Pitaka MagEZ 4 especially around the edges on the back. Top and bottom protection is an added protection
I purchased this and was excited. My excitement faded fast.. 1st off the corners snag on threads when pulling out of my front pocket 2nd - because the case is thin and the camera bump is thick it doesn’t work well with my nomad base, same base in your video that you also had trouble with.
NIce case Tee, but you have to wait 15 damn days to get your hands on it, ordered mine 10/13/23 still waiting, but still better quality than Pitaka and cheaper, is good deal.
Touch and pay attention to the edges of the case (edges of the screen) on the Benks Armor Air, and then do the same with the MagEZ Case 4. Does the MagEZ feel better or am I crazy? I have both cases, and the Armor Air has sharper edges that aren't nearly as smooth and nice as the MagEZ. Also there's been a couple times with the Armor Air in the corners where the relief cutouts are a little sharp, and has gotten caught in my pockets. I also noticed that the Armor Air has slightly raised corner lips. You gotta really look but I swear the corners are raised a little bit. Anyway I've been sticking with the MagEZ mostly, it just feels a little smoother overall. Super nitpicky details but you know how it is!
Hi Tee! Cool video as always, congrats for doing such a good job. Step aside, I just received mine a few days ago for my 15 Pro but I’m a little bit concerned about the aluminum ring on the inside of the case. I was checking the case and I just notice my case doesn’t have the aluminum ring on the inside completely flush with the case, if I slide my finger on the inner side of the case I feel the ring is a little bit off and I can even see on the sideways this is happening. I’m not using the case and I’ll be writing to the support team of Benks for a replacement on this. Did you noticed the same on your case? I’m in love with the case but I’m not using it because I’m a little bit concerned by the fact that the inner part of the aluminum ring of the camera can scratch the back of my iPhone if I use this case. Apart from that issue, the case is amazingly think and comfortable, really had a nice experience with it. I’ll be looking for an exchange of it to solve the ring issue to fully enjoy my case.
I got this case last week. Great minimalists case. It says it has 3 feet drop protection. The other day I dropped my phone from my couch to the ground about 2 feet or less. My screen protector cracked lol. You are playing with fire with this case. Ur better off not using a case honestly.

It literally does not have any raisivity so I sent it back the next day I received it.
@well yeah.. most thin cases don’t do raisitivity… especially when you add a glass screen protector in the mix. This comes with the territory
Рік тому
@@v3xxdd753with Pitaka MagEZ I get at least some raisivity from those corners so that glass does not touch the surface of the table. Now I only keep Pitaka Pro (seems to be best overall so far - I had nasty drops on concrete with its 13PM so I have confidence in it), Benks Pro (have not really tested it) and Rebel Gen 5 (which I'm currently rocking - love the grip but feels cheap and hollow due to a lot of bulk added by thick backplate). Maybe should get Synthesis this year as Tee seems to love it.
These cases are not meant for drops at all. They are strictly for looks/scratch protection.

@@blackjack19811 Somehow I don't care about the looks at all, but MagEZ/Air give me the best feel in the hand. They don't add volume so the phone feels as a brick, substantial. It's such a shame they don't protect the phone from drops. I never actually dropped MagEZ or Air so no real life experience.
Well my case finally came in today. Feels great and definitely the thinnest case I’ve ever purchased. If I want to be picky about it..the only thing I feel is flimsy would be the camera ring. I don’t know if it’s just the case I purchased but the camera ring has a bit of wiggle. Does anyone else have that issue?👀🧐🤔
My go to channel for case reviews. I've been waiting for a decent thin case and looks like I found it! I've just ordered some Benks gear and used your code man, thanks for doing such a great job
I recently got the armor air and i realise that my phone was not fitting snug inside the case and i could move my phone in the case .. is that normal ?
I have been waiting for a thin case after LaterCase started covering up the camera hump. Also this covers the top and bottom from scratching. Great review purchased immediately using the coupon code provided. 🤜🏼
Pitaka is over priced for its protection quality. I once dropped my 13Pro with Pitaka case on and from a height of only 5 feet on a flat concrete floor. it got a chip off on the bottom left which still had some protection. Stopped using that.
I saw both of your videos with this case for 14 PM and 15 PM and i don't get it how the 14 PM Armor Air case could pick up the base and the 15 PM Armor Air could not.. it's a bit strange due the fact the case overall seems to be the same as last year with only minor changes to fit the 15 PM. I don't think the camera ring is the issue because is the same as last year.
Can’t wait for the iPhone 16 😂😂😂 kidding aside. Using this case in my 13PM and it has been doing great. Though my phone fall around 4 feet got my screen tempered glass cracked, it will not protect from fall. Just a minimalist thin case for scratch protection.
@@TechnicallyTee I was soooo ready to pull the trigger on it but the specs says it weights 27.9 grams which is close to other bulky cases (silicone or apple clear case for example) and wayyyyy heavier than Pitaka's Mag Ez. However, I still prefer the design of the Mous case :( Looking forward to your review!
Best minimalist case is the Torras Magnetic Slim. Super slim. Has metal buttons. Has solid lip protection and great camera protection and super strong magnets.
I have it as well. Well the magnetic slim with camera lip stand. It was first case I liked for 15PM. Wanted to try even thinner Pitaka and Benks. Like them all at times and can’t decide yet! Tee should compare pitaka and Benks thin ones for 15 and maybe even with TORRAS. Or at least a TORRAS video!
Would love to see some Torras case reviews. It is on my shortlist but I have not yet decided on a case. I am using a temporary one. As much as I loved the Seahth for my iPhone 13 PM. I wanted a ligher case this time around... still undecided haha.. Thank you as always Tee for the hard work ! It is very much appreciated...@@TechnicallyTee
Yes. I had both. Been using pitaka for 2 years and since i use benks aircase i will never go back to pitaka again. Strong magnet, more cheaper, bottom and top covered and the metal ring camera
Imo yes, and even if it were close, you can get Benks cases for ~1/2 the price of Pitaka which makes it a no brainer. Also I just think the 600D aramid is better than the 1500D.
Team Natty. I sold this case, I didn’t like the feel of it and it was too hard to get off my phone. I would have just returned it if I bought it from Amazon, but Benks wanted me to pay to ship it to China. The Pitaka Pro 4 is my everyday case for now. Great protection, like the feel in the hand and premium buttons. Minimal bulk added with a clean look.

This case doesn’t have the cloth material inside, when using magsafe products does it not scratch the phone through the magnet?
These thin cases with the sides open remind me of those cases we used to have for the iPhone 4 and 5.
Baba true indeed. That’s how like every case was for those iPhones.

I’d love to see magnet paper, especially to see whether or not the alignment magnetic there on cases
Isnt the iphone pro max 221 gram? If the case is 29 gram how it comes up to 263 gram? Is ur weighing device faulty??
He has a tempered glass on his phone, that adds weight as well

Which is better? This benks armor pro or rebel gen 5??
Amazing case but with light use no drops only in jeans and hoodies pockets the both bottom corners show lightly gloss under aramid fiber material
Yeah it’s a hard material so that’s going to show drops every time.
Hello, there is an important issue that I am very curious about. Does Kevlar material trap heat? So will this case trap the heat and damage the phone?
Tee I have this case for my 14 PRO MAX and I love it thanks to you! ✌🏻👍🏻
Would you be able to review the benks vintage leather case?
so for the armorair case, the case's front screen lid protection is not gonna be able to cover over the screen protector right?

Natural titanium 15 promax in the building!
Would the nomad Kevlar usb-c cable fit this? I just got the cable and it only fits in 1 of my 4 current cases lol

I have the spigen Enzo aramid but this case is 🔥
is it normal to have some flex on the camera side?

Yep that’s all when it comes to protection and you can’t really expect more than that.
I like the Nomad base test, but I may be biased because I use the same one on my nightstand. But it also gives a real world comparison. #TeamNatty
Latercase review coming up??
Yep.
Pitaka is too pricey. Skipped it this year
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed your case review. Blessings on your day!
I got that special iPhone color clear😂😂😂
Tee……Ima need to see some case battles.
Yeah they are gearing up. I was honestly going to do one for today’s upload but ran out of time.
I need thick case with that same aluminium ring
Please pleaaaseee pleaseeeee review the new Mous super thin aramid fiber case!
