I currently only have StoryGraph. I'm a numbers person. I love all the numbers, graphs, and charts they provide. My top 5 genres included 3 that were the same as yours: Horror, Fantasy, and Romance (my other 2 were Classics, and Science Fiction). Interestingly, my top author was R.L. Stine. I read 5 of his books🦶
Oh no wonder I’m intrigued by the titles you share with me, we have a common reading taste ☺️ love it, I hope to see sci-fi and classics also higher up on my stats this year! Ah fellow R.L. Stine fan! Which ones did you read?
@@Nixreads I read Attack of the Graveyard Ghouls, Shocker on Shock Street, Say Cheese and Die, Vampire Breath, and The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena. I got curious about the books after seeing the Goosebumps movie which I enjoyed. Amazon had a 10 pack of his books available for $27 US. I have 5 more to go. You mentioned his Fear Street teen series in your video. At a recent trip to Barnes & Noble, I bought Fear Street the Beginning: The New Girl; The Surprise Party; The Overnight; Missing. I haven't read it yet.
I use Goodreads and Storygraph the same way you do. Stay out of the basement is my favorite Goosebumps! Dead House is right up there too. I love them so much. I just read the first book in the Inheritance Games this week and enjoyed it. Adding Snowed In to my TBR. 🦶🦶🦶
Yay for Snowed In, I think you’ll like it ☺️ I like the second book best out of the 3 I read from Inheritance Games, I hope you continue:) ohh I don’t think I’ve ever read Dead House! Did you watch the 2023 Goosebumps series?
Dude I run an adult Goosebumps book club! It’s seriously so much fun and it brings in people who might not otherwise be able to commit to a book club. Have you read the Small Spaces books by Katherine Arden? Spooky middle grade is probably my favorite genre for during the workweek when I don’t have lots of brainpower.
Ahh no way, that is incredible 🤩💚How do you choose which Goosebumps to read next? What did you think of the show with Justin Long that came out last year?:) Thank you I added Small Spaces to my list to check out!
@@Nixreads Sometimes I pull from the classics retro tins, or I scroll the booklist for something seasonal or a cover I recognize. We’re also reading the Small Spaces books to line up with the seasons, and last month someone suggested Coraline so we did that. We also did a Fear Street once. I haven’t seen the new show yet, I gotta get on that!
