Amid soaring tensions in the Horn of Africa, Ethiopia has issued a stark warning to its rivals. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in a televised address on the country's Sovereignty Day said that there would be a severe retaliation if anyone attempted to invade his country. Though, the Ethiopian PM did not direct his comments at any particular nation, they come as the East African country is locked in disputes with neighbouring Somalia and Egypt. Ethiopia is irked as both of its rivals are forging closer ties. Watch the video for more details.
