So, I'm gonna come clean before any of you yell at me that I stole this thing. I was listening one day to this song, and then my random playlist threw Crystal Castle's Kept. That was when I got a really, really bad idea, which is pretty much the description of my whole creative process.
I said to myself "I really wanna make that tune, but I still haven't watched this movie. I think I'll wait till I watch it to not come off as a poser."
That was at least 2 years ago. Can you believe I still haven't watched it?

Yes I do! Although it only has my original music. I have to pay a 20 bux license for every cover/remix I want to upload to Spotify, and since Spotify doesn't pay back, it ain't a good deal.
