I've cleared the map and upgraded all outfits, weapons and tools in just under 20hrs. It was good, just good though.
It's the right direction in terms of how the franchise should be formatted moving forward, but yeah. It was a fantastic (Gameplay) Disapointment (Story).
Another great review - keep killin' it!
I really enjoyed it. The music is incredible and it was nice to have it feel like the older games. The combat felt better too. Hard mode feels like hard mode and not some stupid thing in odyssey where it was “40 hits to kill a mercenary and 1 hit and u dead”. I liked how balanced all the weapons were. I also like how there arent stupid outfits (at least when writing thi) like in valhalla. Valhalla first year was my favourite era if Valhalla, before all the futuristic outfits. It was just nice to go back to a game that doesnt have all the stupid combat effects like in Valhalla. However, I do like the bigger maps in the last two games, and the endless content you can do after endgame. I always found myself never getting bored in those two games in the endgame.
While I understand people's criticism of the game i disagree this game for me is what I've wanted assassin's creed to be mirage felt more like assassin's creed than it has in awhile. also the story being short this was supposed to be a dlc so I can't fault them for it so yes it's not perfect but I enjoyed it. It's just up to what everyone's expectations of the game was if you wanted old assassin's creed than i think you'll love it, if you're looking for that rpg experience than it's not for you just my opinion.

And we knew most of this through context clues in Valhalla
For me i got into it late i tried black flag as my first entry and found the controls clunky and unresponsive so i quit after 2 or 3 hours then i said im not a fan of ac atall with each release but in 2018 i tried syndicate and was amazed i really enjoyed it so i got origins and felt meh ok then odyssey was released and for me that is the best game ive played but i am a huge fan of greek mythology so it had me at go then valhalla came out it was ok too repetitive but good overall and mirage was just a disappointment for me i completed the game and said is that it sad really as i see why ubisoft have changed back to an old formular but i feel like they could do more stuff like odyssey and i would gladly pre order
i personally really enjoyed the game it was refreshing and had a good story, the stealth and investigative aspects where great.
I loved the game overall, however the story for me just fell flat. It wasn't interesting enough for anymore than 15 hours. THis is the right formula though

Again I've played Valhalla I'm done with mirage and I'm left with why was it made? What was the point? What did we learn that we didn't already? It didn't progress the story at all. no modern day progression. no isu progression. I don't really think we needed it

It's because when Basim showed up and was said to be a reincarnation of Loki, there was no previous backstory to show. It was just word of mouth, so they made an entire game based on it...😂
Yep, the personality of the characters and the plot is totally normal and basic,, it couldve been better,Its totally feels like im playing as a detective 🙂
Sorry the Antiquity pack are better in my opinion, origins was original classic and Odyssey raised the bar by expanding the environment and ways to get around, Valhalla brought the hidden blade back and the ability to put your hood on casually and the dlc's was worth paying cause it added not only extra content but beautiful new areas and stretched out stories which made it feel like entirely new games but unfortunately there was complaints that it doesn't feel like ac ezio trilogy or ac unity or ac syndicate 🙄 reason why is cause those play style mechanics are played out and outdated and now you all get what you ask for and you all don't like it, the RPG formula was great all the needed to do was add to but no y'all wanted mirage to feel like the old games 😅 thanks a lot for fucking up the momentum they had with your complaints about Valhalla
I'd give it a 4/ out of 10 it's not the worst but it certainly isn't the best

The game was trash. Wasted my money. Only buy this when there is a sale, do not buy it at full price. You will be disappointed if you do.
