And I looked at him and thought to myself, what cocky, arrogant SOB who thinks his shiat doesn't stink. I cannot believe I am saying this now, but after watching hours of his podcasts/interviews---a very likeable guy who is a man's man. Hard to believe he was a ruthless murderer back in the day. On Episode 1 somehow the comment section is turned off and that episode you’s talked about Michael Franzese and John said that he is sending mixed messages. You said that he didn’t know Gotti Sr in that way and that Michael glorifies him and the life and a bunch of other things that are not true. Michael does not glorify Gotti Sr or the life at all. He has said many many times that it’s a evil life,not that the guys are evil,just that any life that produces that much devastation and how families get devastated and torn apart by it is a evil life. Michael admits that he wasn’t a violent guy and that he was in the life to make money and help his father to get out of prison. Look I enjoy watching your show with Gene and Michael’s show equally because I have always been fascinated by the subject and knew a couple guys that owned a junk yard in Brooklyn in the 90’s and let’s just say that they were straight out of central casting. Michael has never said anything disrespectful about you’s two. The only thing I have heard him say is that you guys were in a different time then he was and that was it. Michael never put anyone in prison,he only took the stand against Herbie and he didn’t spend 5 seconds in jail or prison. He knew what he was doing. You guys are all great and I’m stoked that you guys ALL have turned your lives around and that’s a very hard thing to do,trust me I know myself from personal experience. Gene the $8-$10 million a week is documented and if you do the math on how many gallons were being sold a week times the $.25-$.40 per gallon taxes that were being kept it adds up.
