As taxes are different in every state and every country, the result might be different for every hotel, but it is usually less than 7,500 base points (in Rochester I really spent 3 nights and paid around $750 and got around 6,500 base points)
Hilton points are meaningless nowadays. Hotels limit the standard room available.
