@@TheHDAviation When I was younger, I wanted to be an Ag Pilot, and aside from hanging around and learning the business from some pros, I collected literature from the various companies producing aircraft. Cessna being one, they had their Ag Truck, Wagon, and the 185 outfitted for spraying. That's when I first fell in love with 185 for its utility as well as its looks. Great bush plane as well.
It's like the friend TheSamoloot said, on UA-cam we're used to seeing big builds aircraft as 777, 747, 787... but no planes of this size, the Skywagons are one of my favorite planes! Great video, I liked it.
STL CardinalsFan Unfortunately I don't have much footage of the 210, I actually think I've only seen one at CZNL once before. Just in case you want to see it, here's the video. It's one of the first ones from my channel. ua-cam.com/video/GAeC5BFqfnQ/v-deo.html
A friend had a 185 SW with a Robertson STOL Kit. He'd take it everywhere, hunting up in the Arctic tundra one day or taking the family skiing at Aspen the next. Living on a lake, he had floats for it besides the boony and regular wheels. Never did manage to get a ride in it. Damn!
Nice, it sounds like your friend put her to good use. It's pretty impressive all the rugged terrain a 185 can access. Too bad you didn't get a ride while they had it!
I prefer her older sister. The Cessna 195. Powered by a Jacobs R755 7 cylinder radial engine. One of the most gorgeous single engine planes ever built. Heralding from an older age of aviation.
Friend of mine had a 1985 with a IO550 with wheel pants and bunch other goodies and it would turn 174 knots if you ask me that is amazing for a 185. It was definitely faster than a 182 with no nose gear and 300 horse out front.
John Tempest Most of these were with flaps 10 instead of 20 and we don’t know the weight. The long range tanks on the Echo models held 78 gallons useable. The useful load is 1500-1700#. Try that in a Maule or Super Cub. It’s a great performer with min fuel and a reduced load when using flaps 20 for takeoff.
Nice video, as always! Thanks for showing an iconic airplane at a very beautiful place. I liked specially the perfect three weels landing at 3:45.
Thanks very much for watching!
Love the 185 Skywagons. Probably the finest working aircraft Cessna ever built. mho.
I love me some C-185's! Other than the C-195 and the rare C-150 tail-dragger, the C-185 is one I would love to own. Awesome video of C-185's a-plenty!
Thanks for watching! I love the Cessna 185 as well, one rugged airplane. I'd love to catch a C195 some day though, such a beauty!

Wow, what a great compilation. I´m a huge fan of the Cessna aircraft family. Thumbs up!
Thanks very much, Cessna has definitely made lots of great aircraft over the years.
Fantastic shots, mate! Their sound is so awesome! Lovely compilation, really enjoyed it!
Thanks very much, I love the sound of these little Cessna's as well!
The Canadian wilderness in the backgrund and this bush plane blend seamlessly! But which aircraft doesn't ;)
Very beautiful compilation of those beautiful planes!
Thanks very much!
WOW wonderful compilation. Thanks for sharing. You made my day. Cheers Matt
Thanks very much Matthias, I'm glad you enjoyed this one!
This is the best of all high performance Taildragger in all the powerful 185

Thanks very much! I had a few more general aviation compilations in the works featuring the Cessna 180, 182 and maybe the Twin Otter as well.
+TheHDAviation I would seriously buy a Cessna 210 DVD from you

😱😱😱😱 wow is alll I can say. Never seen a Cessna 185 before this was a really good watch and little aircraft are just as fun to watch as big ones
I really like spotting the little guys as well, makes for a bit of a change. Thanks for watching!
Great to see all the different versions of this Cessna! Nice video, liked a lot! :)

It's definitely nice to be able to access downtown with an easy walk. Hope to catch you flying through some day!
Absolutely stunning compilation mate!! The sounds of the various takeoffs were absolutely amazing!! Huge like mate!! Massive thumbs up:)
Thanks a lot!
The props on the those planes are so big! That’s why they are so loud
They do sound pretty good for a small aircraft!

The 195 is a beauty indeed, would love to see and hear one in person some day.
Thats a very nice aircraft with an awesome sound! Amazing compilation! Liked a lot :)
Thanks very much!
Fantastic compilation mate, awesome work! Thumbs up!
Thanks very much!
With its manual flaps and rugged conventional gear design, the 185 is unsurpassed for a back country machine.
Fly-in?Neon T-shirts... Looked like an RCMP logo on FYFJ. Wonderful!
Yup, FYFJ was filmed during a fly-in at CZNL a few years back. The rest were filmed on random spotting days. Thanks!
Great 185 compilation....Very enjoyable....Cheers....Steve.-:)
Thanks very much Steve!
this is a cool airport. awesome video,
all cessna 185 with different wheels
Thanks very much!
love this....those big wheels kill me every time i see them lol
Haha ya, they're pretty strange looking :-)
Friend of mine had a 1985 with a IO550 with wheel pants and bunch other goodies and it would turn 174 knots if you ask me that is amazing for a 185. It was definitely faster than a 182 with no nose gear and 300 horse out front.
Nice shots to compare their different undercarriages. Great compilation. :-)
Thanks very much!
Light landing off!
beautiful plane /love your videos keep up the awesome videos😄😁!
Thanks a lot!
Great catches :)
Prety good. Where is this place? Best wishies from Brazil.
Thanks! This was filmed at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.
Thanks. It's a wonderful place.
AND DON'T FOGET THE ONE THAT CRASHED
Ya, that was pretty crazy. Definitely a surprise to see.
Nice one my friend!
Thanks a lot!
I love cessna 185 but the problem is flying in cessna 185 it's very slow. I hated fly slower. I just love fly faster
one of the loudest one you must of heard 100-110 db from them.
They really are loud, they made quite the impressive echo through the valley as they were powering down the runway.
and how far were the planes 40m
Tristen Manning Maybe 20 meters from where I was filming.
Nice one ;)
Thanks for watching!
We are featuring this video on www.bwifly.com. Beautiful video and we LOVE Skywagons!
Quase todos eles são tripá?
Take off performance makes it hard to consider this a "Backcountry" plane.
Beautiful aircraft though.
