Hello Maxwell. I sold the plane a year ago but yes, flew it allover Australia - All states except Tas Up the coast, Gulf, across the Simpson 5 times, Arhnem land, Tanamai desert to the Kimberleys etc. Great fun but time for some other adventures. cheers r
HI Paul, long time since i saw that video - had to go back to see what you were referring to! They are the controls for the Zulu headsets. I wired them up there so there were no cables around the legs and they also have permanent power to the noise cancelling rather than needing batteries. Di wire it for sound also ! and they have bluetooth for phone also. But I tend not to use either much. We now have 170 hrs on the plane and recently returned from a trip across OZ to the kimberleys - went really well!
HI John it took 2 years and yes, I ordered it all at once. For more info and answers to many of the questions you are likely to have, join up the Team Kitfox site - it is a great source of all info about Kitfox. cheers r
G'day - cost without avionics was about $75k - but that is with the Rotax 912issport and Airmaster CSP - probably amounts to $16k above standard engine and prop. If you are interested in them more join up to the Team Kitfox site where you will find all the info you ever wanted! www.teamkitfox.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?f=4 cheers ross
Very nice Kitfox. Beautiful landscape too, lived in Australia for 2 years on a Work Visa, absolutely amazing country. Nice video!
Hey mate, have you flown her cross country? Where did you go? Would love to see more videos.
