Victoria's highest peak must be Mount Bogong.
Highly recommend the hike up to the peak either via the staircase spur or the alternative long way around.
Superb views. You can also stay at Mitchell's Hut which is located at about 1100m (from memory).
I may struggle to climb Bogong today - I struggled when I was much younger and fitter too.
Carrying a pack filled with stuff I didnt need or use reflected how ridiculously silly I could be in my younger days.
Australia doesn't have many high peaks. It's the flattest continent on the planet.

Yes that was Mount Bogong. Someone else mentioned walking up there as well, it's something I'd love to do one day I reckon. I'll be Googling that later tonight, thanks.

Stef I picked up whilst at Sun 'n 'Fun this year the MYGOFLIGHT Cool Case for IPAD mini 6 (iPad Sport Cool Case - iPad Cooling Kneeboard/Mountable Case for iPad Mini 6) with a suction mount. Using in a Cherokee 180 now, but used with Suction Mount in the SR20 in Dallas area. Found it really good, and the Cool Case just pops off the suction mount if you want to hold.

I just got the Pivot case. Use an iPad Mini 6th gen as well. Just went on a long trip out to William Creek (from Bankstown) with it and it performed really well. Had it window mounted with the suction cup and no issues with overheating, even on long legs in the sun (while charging). It does get fairly decent airflow from a floor air vent in the current plane I fly (Archer TX) however. I also like how easy it is to attach it to the suction cup mount with the clamp at the back.
Think my only negatives are that it looks and feels pretty clunky/heavy and it's quite hard to get the inner shell out of the outer case to flip it around when storing the iPad away in a bag. Slowly getting used to that though. Overall it's a pretty solid choice!

Hi Stef great content as always. I have been following you since the beginning and really look forward to each of your videos. As far as the Pivot cases go have been using one for about two months now and they are wonderful. If you purchase make sure you get the clip on case cover as well as the mount for the aircraft. Very secure and easily removed at the end of the flight.

Why not just use a kneeboard? Closer to the air con and better visibility out your windscreen. Btw do you use a filter in the plane to reduce audio noise in your recordings? I’ve got the new Sony recorder but get more background noise than you do.

If you're in a tailwheel or at night the landings need to be full stop for currency in the US. They do not need to be if you're day time and in a tricycle gear plane.
