Good tip. Canon refurbished store and Apple refurbished store are both best places to acquire their products. Have personal bought Canon gears many times that way over the years. Have never had a problem.
Was lucky enough to get an RF 24-70 f2.8 from Canon refurbished for $1499. And an RF 24-105 for less than 700 around Black Friday. Very legit and came in like new condition
I want to be in the astrophotography space and I've always been wary because of the high price of camera gear but this is definitely worth looking into. Thank you for sharing this.
I bought from the canon refurbished store over Black Friday last year and had 2 orders cancel on canon’s end without any sort of reason why. One was right as the sale started at midnight/12:30 am and one was the morning after the sale started Has this happened to you or anyone else?
or just go to Samy's camera on Black Friday and other holiday sales, and they have the sale price, plus Zero 0 tax! so that $3000 camera is off $300 as No Tax on top of the other Holiday sales. plus they toss in extra battery, extra battery charger, 64g SD card, and clear lens protector, and they have 1 year to 18months Zero Interest Credit payment plan. So you walk out with a full camera package paying nothing! I got last December 2023 R6 MarkII with 24-105 lens and all the extra assessors for about $1400 off. And as it was a newer camera no are available refurbished.
@@joeypusateri_ Thats why in my original comment it says ".. and other holiday sales." as they have lots of sales all year round, not just black Friday.. so you might have to wait a month or two.. Mothers day, Easter, 4th July, etc...

Anything to save some money especially without sacrificing quality

That is super weird, maybe it was an inventory issue
@@joeypusateri_my guess is that was the case but still doesn’t make me feel great about buying from there. Maybe next Black Friday I’ll try again
facts i dont have a ton of cash for gear so every dollar counts
Exactly the perspective dude, a few hundred is a lot

Some people want it now (February) and don’t want to wait until the end of the year tho

Just buy it used. I got Sony a1 for $4700 1.5 years ago. And it was basically new. The video is pointless.
You do you
