I adore how he responsed to "how is it being so famous" ,like he wanted to bring his point of view as much as its possible,the amount of metaphores he used,difference between buyer-product,viewer-view.i am still amazed that whenever i watch his interview he is always ready to explain,justify,puzzle. His involvement for work and intelligence just stand out.
"The Imitation Game" was amazing - that's the first thing I ever watched with Benedict Cumberbatch in it. Then I had to check out his other works, and BAM! I just have to watch everything he's been in, which is a lot! He's an amazing actor, and I love his humble and intelligent approach to the whole celebrity circus :)
I admire how he tries to keep his life as normal as possible and has the intelligence and humor to deal with all the craziness. He does not give black and white answers because he is so aware of the complexities in just about everything. He is SO amazing. BRAINY IS THE NEW SEXY!!!
What planet is he from? Jesus! The guy is genius! Love the way he speaks, and how humble he is! Brilliant mind, great soul. I won't mention his voice, hands, lips, and those eyes you could get lost in...oops! I said I wouldn't mention those!
He is the only actor I seek out interviews on, especially the longer ones that gives him a change to spread his wings. He gives me interesting things to think about.
I like how he doesn't always let her talk over him. He will keep on speaking, sometimes louder than her, to finish his thought. Please let your interviewees SPEAK, interviewer. However many questions you wish to get through takes a back seat to your interviewee getting their thoughts out. Even when the interview goes left, those are the best kind.
What he said about the "copy and paste" thing at 34:00 is absolutely true. I've seen a lot of people take quotes from certain articles or interviews, most of which have been taken out of context, others just misquoted, and use it to say he's racist, misogynistic, ableist, transphobic or classist, or any other negative thing. All of it is a load of old tosh and haters just use it to spread nasty rumours about him.
It's lovely to listen to some Cumberknowledge! Through all his funny traits,you really get to see his deep,wise side. In the end,he is a wonderfully wise old man.Even tho,he isn't that old..or..he doesn't LOOK that old at all. If he did,the ladies wouldn't be so obsessed ;)
I don’t know why this has appeared on my feed 4 years late! Anyhow I grew up knowing about Alan Turing because I lived opposite Bletchley park. I work in computers and the building I work in is called Turing House. I’m always surprised to hear people don’t know of him. It’s very sad.
I adore Benedict as an actor, think he's oddly (not mainstream/cookie-cutter) attractive, and mostly enjoy his interviews. However, he has a tendency to ramble at times. Yes, he gives thoughtful responses - which is welcomed - but sometimes he goes on and on until my eyes glaze over a bit. Is he just nervous, insecure, wants to impart his great knowledge, a bit OCD, or just a geek? 😉 I can't figure it out. I tend to be a talker myself, so I can appreciate having many thoughts you feel you *need* to share, but I've always admired those who can make their point in a thoughtful, yet succinct, fashion. Clearly, Ben and I are not of the latter group. In other news: He looks rather handsome here. 👍

Why couldn't Adobe hire a professional to run this conversation? Having one of the most intelligent actors on stage and asking him such stupid questions (What's it like to be famous - really?), telling this lousy story about night out with her husband, announcing her upcoming questions (I'll ask about Sherlock in a minute - who cares right now?). This made this dialogue so embarrassing, I cannot even finish watching it
His behavior here is anything but adorable. I've followed his work for awhile now and I used to like his public persona, because that is what this is, a public persona. He's always been known to put his foot in his mouth, however he's been doing it so much lately it's sad. He's become such a joke.

He just pretends to be nervous and shy, and actually already has an answer to every question at the tip of his tongue but he deliberately goes in circles in his speech pretending to find the right words to express himself? And then failure to answer the question at all because he's being interrupted with the next question is somehow his evil plan of pretend? And when you say he's become a joke, is that because he's being invited to all these interviews and he agrees to show up?
