I just noticed when you showed all the hats that the knitting is being done sideways and comes out horizontally instead of the usual vertical stitch . But I don't recall you mention this difference, only that it makes a pie shape. It would be lovely to have all the bells and whistles not to need to do it manually. In the previous video I thought I might look for this machine to get it because of the ease in which it is made . However now that I see how the stitches are formed it is possible to do this with the stitches mades horizontally on the csm , as I have made one that way. I made a lot of mistakes not understanding what I was doing with the short rows and started over several times but finally did produce an adult hat. However it did not have the lace pattern . So I do intend to order your pattern so I could use the graph for the lace. I will need to practice it many times to get it down pat to do it with ease but it is possible. So will work on that before investing in yet another machine . Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge. 🥰❤
I didn't think about doing these on a CSM. You could, but as far as the lace goes, it isn't the typical symbols chart for hand transferring. It's the Brother lace carriage chart.
This hat is lovely.
Thanks for your inspiration. It also a good project for a KH 910 upgraded with eKnitter. 😁
