What about absolutely love about this conversation around money if the coaching Lisa gives around looking at the relationship of money to culture. Often what I find amongst my family and friends in the African American community is that our conversation around money is rooted in lack, limitation, and scarcity. Consequently, we live into that conversation as if what we're telling ourselves is true. And that conversation keeps us in lack, limitation, and scarcity. These conversations is why I believe that everyone needs the benefit of coaching so that we can all uncover the blinds spots that we have about, let's say money, and manifest the abundance that is our divine right.

I'm first generation American of Cuban immigrants and in my family, women weren't involved in the discussion of money. I had so many BOL and YANA moments, sometimes I feel I don't deserve expensive things (Luxury products) because I thought they were made for only WEALTHY and SPOILED people, yet I found myself craving for these same things. My culture and experience made me have a bad relationship with money, such that when people offered me expensive gifts, I turned them down, then regret my decisions later. I just wanted people to think of me as simple and modest, but now I realise I was wrong. Today, I choose to fix my relationship with money. Thank you Lisa!
I realized that in my household money was never enough...and now I am changing that belief into I have always been a magnet for money and will use it to fuel my dreams... especially my goals for this year.
Ok Lisa, you pushed the right button, created an Ah-ha moment a BTOL moment and challenged me to really think. I am living in a relationship with money that was created for me plain and simple. I wear the scarcity badge as well because I always feel the need to buy more than what is necessary so I won't lack, even if it throws me into debt. A part of me feels I need more money when in reality, I just need to mange what I have better and making more money will mean nothing if I don't resolve all of these negative feelings related to money.

You made me think about the example that I am setting for my kids in regards to money. I grew up not see money. No one talked about money. I struggle with financial goals. I actually, for the first time wrote a list of things I, I personally want. This is new, it feels different, I cried when I read over the list.

I had so many BOL and YANA moments, sometimes I feel I don't deserve expensive things (Luxury products) because I thought they were made for only WEALTHY and SPOILED people, yet I found myself craving for these same things. My culture and experience made me have a bad relationship with money, such that when people offered me expensive gifts, I turned them down, then regret my decisions later. I just wanted people to think of me as simple and modest, but now I realise I was wrong. Today, I choose to fix my relationship with money. Thank you Lisa!

I realized that in my household money was never enough...and now I am changing that belief into I have always been a magnet for money and will use it to fuel my dreams... especially my goals for this year.
Ok Lisa, you pushed the right button, created an Ah-ha moment a BTOL moment and challenged me to really think. I am living in a relationship with money that was created for me plain and simple. I wear the scarcity badge as well because I always feel the need to buy more than what is necessary so I won't lack, even if it throws me into debt. A part of me feels I need more money when in reality, I just need to mange what I have better and making more money will mean nothing if I don't resolve all of these negative feelings related to money.

I am going through a money mindset shift right now I ask for prayers, guidance and consistency. It has been a long journey for me as I am 33 and have very big goals that I am going to see through. :)
I am definitely the change for my children the scare mentality is over its stopped, finished and gone I am wealthy living in abundance

Hey Lisa,
I have been listening to your story for sometime, fell off and found my way back. I have realised there are somethings I never dealt with and pushed forward. You've had many videos which has touched my soul and I want to say thank you. You have been what Ive needed when I felt noone could understand my plight.

Love this. I needed to hear that it's ok to have money. A few months ago I changed my mind set on receiving. This just made me more comfortable with giving and taking money. I like what you said about more money doesn't change who you are.
You made me think about the example that I am setting for my kids in regards to money. I grew up not see money. No one talked about money. I struggle with financial goals. I actually, for the first time wrote a list of things I, I personally want. This is new, it feels different, I cried when I read over the list.

How do you change a negative mindset around money? What do you physically do? Affirmations? Education? I don't particularly like reading how to be wealthy books. Is it possible to do what you love and have the money flow without the focus on wealth retainment?
