I have never been so humiliated as an England fan as I was that night against Iceland, and I've never been prouder as an England fan with what GS has achieved since. I didn't think he was the right man for the job, I was 100% wrong. A wonderful man and he'd doing a wonderful job, hopefully for many years to come.

Gareth Southgate was too defensive in the Euros final. Playing 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders in what was essentially a back 8 on home turf. I want a more progressive England and for Southgate to play players like Grealish, Foden and Sancho together as well as Jude Bellingham for Kalvin Phillips. He also needs to leave Maguire at home, hes been awful this season, and Tomori deserves to replace him in the sqaud.
@@rjflores438 Sure, I agree he probably was a bit too defensive minded looking back. But we conceded zero goals and scored enough to progress onward to a tournament final 🤷♂️

The fact is, Southgate got us further than any other England manager has managed to do in decades, and we’ve consistently improved since he took over. He has made us serious contenders to win tournaments.

I'm from Tanzania but i am a die hard fan for the England National team. I''ve been watching them since the Korea/Japan worldcup 2002, i was 10 at the time. I remember crying at my school dormitory in 2006 after we lost to Portugal for the 2nd time in 2 years, nobody understood why i loved the team that much. I'm a man utd fan too but strangely England goes deeper. We never made it to the 08 Euros under Mclaren. Had one of the worst worldcups in 2010 and 14. We were so obsolete and average in the 2012 and 16 Euros. Being an England fan through & through i've known nothing but dissapointments and heartaches. It's amazing how GS changed this team. It's amazing seeing how our players have become like brothers in arms. There's so much unity, love and admiration in this team. I don't think there's a national side with vibes like England currently some of my best memories and moments as an england fan have come under Gareth. I still remember the 2018 wcup. What a thrilling journey that was!! The match against germany last year. God!! Nothing compares to it. No feeling can come close. God save the queen. God bless our team. God bless England! Cheers 💥

Our England Squad got so much outstanding memories of the Euro's last year our England Squad are so delicated to play for our Brillant counrty that's why we done so so well to the End of the Euros, its lovely to see our 🦁🦁🦁 train so hard & make it fun on the way, they all got their rolls to play & get the results which they all deserved so much in their young lives & their careers they fought for from a young age to now from their Clubs & country ...from the bottom of my heart ❤I thank you everyone who is involved in making our England squad what they have achieved so far ....I'm a very proud England Supporter & always will be.....wishing them all the best for the world Cup games for 2022....

Getting emotional watching this again during this world cup, specifically the part where Kalvin Phillips is talking about the team wanting to protect Raheem from the barrage of projectiles and racist abuse after scoring. I effing love my country and the fact that most of us English people also feel the same way about racism fills my heart with pride. It doesn't matter what colour a person's skin is, they're still a person just like everybody else... its crazy to me that anyone would think any different in today's world.

I think us making the final was a great achievement. The euros had so many great moments. Beating germany. The semi final vs denmark. That luke shaw goal in the final. Such a great year

I've watched England since my first football TV experience in 2014, and the levels of progression is just phenomenonal to see and have witnessed. Quite something to be going out deadlast in 2014, to going out in the R16 in 2016, semi-finals in 2018 and then finals in 2021.

I'll be at the Switzerland game so this is great for getting into the zone! I can't rewatch that Italy game; I can't stand to see poor Saka upset, but what a player he is that after going through something like that, he's had such an amazing season with Arsenal. So rare to see a young team so mature in their mindset. All down to great leadership on and off the pitch, and I don't mean just Southgate and Kane. Amazing camaraderie and unconditional support for each other. Just look at how they instinctively surrounded Sterling so that he can dedicate his goal to his late friend.
One of my favourite tournaments to watch honestly. The final result broke my heart but hopefully we come back stronger than ever

To be honest I don't care if the football isn't the best we play under Southgate.all I care about is us being competitive and his football is effective which the last 2 tournaments have shown. some of the best summers I've had in life 2018 and 2021 especially 2018 hot summer and football.it plays a big part in people's mental health things like England doing well in world cup and Euros like escape for some people.
