I've watched numerous football tournaments in my life, World Cup's and Euro's in the men's game. But this Summer has been the one I have enjoyed the most. It was brilliant and exciting and ended with a superb victory at Wembley. The ladies played as a team and played for each other. They have a really great manager. They won because they wanted to.
Watching this heartwarming documentary now after the Euros makes it all the more special, they did exactly what they set out to achieve! Seeing William wishing them luck at the end of the doc, and then seeing him present the trophy on Sunday is incredible! Well done Lionesses!!! Got my tickets for the USA game in October!
Coming all the way from Singapore, have always supported the England's mens team but have been watching Lionesses since the 2019 World Cup and have been supporting them since. Watched the quarter finals last night and I was cheering them all the way, what a great comeback. I may not been English but i've always been in love with the country and football. Come on ladies, lets bring it home!!!!!

Watching this knowing that they'll be playing in the Euro's final at Wembley this Sunday is so emotional. Seeing the whole country get behind them and players I've loved for years become house hold names, inspiring young girls to pick up a football and prove that it isn't 'just for boys'. All their hard work has paid off. Fingers crossed for a win, they beat Germany 3-1 a few months ago, they can do it again!

I was one of the few who attended Englands first Euro final second leg in 1984 at Luton Towns Kenilworth Road ... we lost on penalties to Sweden. When we reached the final in 2009, just before the kick off I had an overlfow of emotion. since then we have just fell short. We are at home now and we have a much better following than 2005 ... Grasp this Opportunity and do not let it slip away, Go On girls Make Us PROUD !!!

This is one of the best international football teams I've seen in decades. They remind me of the German men's team except this England team have a real thirst for scoring goals and they have several players that can do it. Quite brilliant, roll on the women's world cup.

Well the arguments will start about how close the men's and women's teams really are. But at least two arguments are settled forever. Success and Pride. The women are leaving the men in their dust. This team, even without the final win made me love football again. And I have never seen a team enjoy themselves and appreciate everything as much as this team does.

Why is that British film industry make way better documentary compare to US films? I’m not a football fan but the fever is getting on me already hence me watching videos of the lionesses.
Two reasons which ' may ' be why. 1= The usa is about money. Apart from the PBS / Smithsonian channels which can be informative / educational , its about money..... Very quick history lesson. In Britain , during WW2 there was a Film Unit for the Gov , to make educational films about rationing , the home front, and how civilians could ' do their bit' . The people involved in that unit went on to be some of the best film makers in the country, after the war. They then taught the next generation, and they, in turn, taught the next. So we have a history of top class, experienced film makers, who were not governed by ' profit' . That may be why? i dont know. But i hope this helps :).
