Tip for anyone reading this. Turn in your engrams on an alt character that doesn't have the armour unlocked. It will only drop weapons and more likely red borders.
I got 5 red borders after turning in 30 engrams. ❤
So just beat the campaign and turn them in?
For the love of god do the weapon engrams, yes it costs 2 but the loot pool is waaaaay smaller, i got both weapons done with 60 engrams i had saved up, so basically 30 drops.

I just opened them on my Warlock who hasn't gotten any of the armor yet.
I just focused the weapons at 2 engrams a pop and got all my red boarders done and crafted it. It’s AMAZING
I popped about 50 and got two red border sidearms. I did two engrams a pop for the weapons. It's very good, but it is still RNG. I got a heal clip incandescent to drop, so I'll use that in the meantime, but it's definitely not guaranteed

I did the gram and enhanced a couple and finally unlocked the pattern. Heal clip and Incandescent baby!

It’s a rocket so there’s no damage fall off on direct hits

what makes this so odd is that the other two rocket sidearms (The Call and Indebted Kindness) have range stats in the 20s and 30s (at least my rolls do).
Range is weapon dependent bruv, how do destiny players not know this after a decade
Every weapon has their min/max range, different ranges on both similar archetypes of weapons and different weapons dont correlate
A 70 range Dire Promise is not the same as a 70 range Palindrome

@@Peppy869Me neither, even though I've got one to drop. I saw another video that said you need to progress the Act Two questline to unlock them (though still time gated). Not sure how far you need to get.
