Welcome back to another Diorama build where I try to capture a point in time of Warhammer 40K Lore. during the video I'll talk about the Build and the Lore to give more understandering of what and why the diorama build is what it is. i really hope your enjoying these Diorama lore builds because im really enjoying making them 😅.

The sourcing of the bits is forgiven due to the incredible results. I have incorporated Dark Angels bits into some of my Blood Angels to get specific results on the finished mini. The fact that it irritates some Dark Angels players like my son is just a bonus.

Been 40K'ing it since late 80's. And youtube'ing it for years, but this is the first time I've seen your content.

I was hooked on that particular lore, and the build looks fantastic. (Thats the first time I've seen anyone swarm Nissan like that. Which is how I imagine they'd be.

Hey, appreciate that massively! So glad you enjoyed the video ☺️☺️ tbh it’s started with me just explaining what my dioramas are to my non 40k friends, then I started telling some of the lore to give perspective and now where here 😅.
Oh yeah I always assumed nids would just swarm like this 😅, only reason I first got into 40k was because my friend played Tyranids and I loved the film Starship Troopers. 😊

A freezing blast of wind driven snow howled again Brother Castus' armoured body, his flamer unit gripped tight in front of him as ready for action as he was. Behind him as he patrolled this stretch of dark shoreline with Sergeant Vitus and the imposing form of Brother Sabinus, the dreadnaught recently awakened from his rest to help in the defence of the polar fortress against this new foul xenos who had the audacity to invade the home worlds of Ultramar.
Sergeant Vitus called a halt, turning to shield the Auspex from the persistent gale. 'I have movement. 100m out on the icefloe... It's tracking as small, so most likely an animal. It's heading this way, so let's check it out.'
Castus lit up the Flamer's pilot light anyway, it can't hurt to be ready. Although the vox was clear, he knew Vitus was calling in the sighting as was protocol, even if it was nothing of concern. There had been no sighting of the xenos this far north yet, so any fauna indicated that was still the case.
'50 metres' Came the call from Vitus through the vox.
'40 metres'
'Range 30 metres. We should have visual by now...'
'20 metres. Ready up, something isn't right.'
'12 metres. Emperor, this is a now a big signal. Ten meters. Where is it?" Vitus was scanning what he could see out on the cold desolate ice. Even with his suits lights or nightvision, nothing was emerging from the snow hazed void.
All three members of the squad realised as one 'They're beneath the ice!' Shouted Castus, a second before their world erupted in an explosion of ice and freezing water.
Standing on the shore, Vitus was thrown from his feet as a creature emerged from the sea, a huge clawed, armoured monstrosity that towered over even Brother Sabinus. A quick burst from his bolt pistol and a shouted warning over the long range vox was all that he managed before a razor sharp claw speared through his torso and tossed aside to be overwhelmed by a swarm of smaller creatures clambering out onto the ice.
Castus' flamer spat to life and engulfed the smaller creatures in burning prometheum as Sabinus let his assualt cannon loose on the taller bioform, it's distinctive whine of the barrels spinning up and the roar of the rounds being fired heard over the sound of the blasting wind.
The defence of the polar fortress had begun and Castus hoped that their warning had been heard, and as more creatures poured out of the sea, he would take as many with him as he could before they were overrun.

Excellent, my 2 complaints : tutorials need more details, and your work can be very instructive for us. And add an impact explosion on the big tyrannid. Thx for your wonderful work
