I would definitely choose the Primary Arms SLx 1-8 over this for not much more money. I have read a lot of anecdotes that these suck for various reasons.
I have a Primary Arms 1-6 FFP GLX, and while I like the ACSS reticles better, the EP8 blows it out of the water in 1x image quality and eye box. They're both about the same glass-wise, but the Primary Arms GLX cost $600 and the EP8 was $375

@@drywallman1986 for anyone wondering, I went out and purchased one when it was on sale. The glass is actually pretty damn nice (especially for a $300 scope) but there is very slight distortion around the edges of the glass at 1 and 8x. Overall well worth the money
ACSS? How about SVD much. To be fair the KLBox is even faster to aim with because the range estimator is built into the aim-point without having it to the side like the ACSS.

I also own a SLx 1-8. I prefer the ACSS reticle on the PA overall but the SLx glass is not as good as the EP8.

What'd you hear bad about them. I was thinking it looked good until I saw your post. I'm needing a optic for scar 17s. I'd take any advice

I would but PA has been ghosting me since last year's SHOT Show. I have the 1-8x which I truly compare all other budget LPVOs to.

How is the glass on the Arken 1-8 compared to others in the 800ish range? I’m skeptical because I never see other videos about this optic

The glass is Japanese glass and crystal clear
