Excellent song, excellent reaction :) Did you see that Floor released an interview with Tom Englund today discussing depression. REALLY interesting. This is a new band to me but I like them so far
If you get a chance (as reaction or just on your own time) I can recommend to check out Angra, particularly the Temple of Shadows album. You may have already but just in case :p Thanks for doing this by the way! I love a lot of Evergrey stuff and I agree with you regarding the pop quality of this song. It’s sort of what Weightless was to The Atlantic :p
Floor released an interview yesterday on her channel with Tom Englund (Evergrey) where they talk about health & music: ua-cam.com/video/PRlHz42atiY/v-deo.html Naka, I hope you can find the time to react to this TOP LINEUP OF MANY MUSICAL INTRUMENTS/SINGERS: The Source is the 9th studio album from *AYREON* , a progressive metal/rock opera project by Dutch musician Arjen (Ahr-Yun) Anthony Lucassen, released on April 28, 2017. *_The Day That The World Breaks Down_* is a song that features all 11 (quite well known) main guest singers (you’ll be surprised) and is taken from that album. Arjen himself is telling (in subtitles) who the singers are and which instruments are used and by which standards. Btw. The clip is 13 min. long and I think you won’t regret it !! Official (Arjen’s) clip: ua-cam.com/video/oFuMKdrzPqU/v-deo.html
Great reaction!! New viewer here. Evergrey are such an underrated band. I have been lucky enough to see them a few times over the years! Looking forward to the new album!! You should also check out Tom's other projects *Redemption* and Silent Skies...

I'd love to see you do a reaction to Dream Theater. Panic Attack, Dark Eternal Night, The Glass Prison and if you really want to get into the epic prog side In the Presence of Enemies are all great songs to start with. Thank you
Awesome reaction as always! I liked the track though it's not exactly my style. Never fully got into Evergrey but heard some good tracks. I really get what you're saying with the higher/lower frequency in the voice timber. My mom says Simone sounds like a really high pitched drill. She likes the lower tones. And Oh yeepee, albums I'm looking forward to, I always like this question and always have a list. Right now I'll be jamming the new Need that just dropped (tremendous Greek prog) and I'm looking forward to new Epica (also February 26th), Stortregn (blackened prog death), Dark Horse White Horse (prog tech symphonic metal with Marcela Bovio - release date not announced yet), Blackbriar - The Cause of Shipwreck (goth symphonic - release date also not announced yet, somewhere around April) and I wanna start jamming the new album from Mechina - Siege (cyber techy progressive death), which already dropped on the 1st of January but I haven't heard it yet. So Imma keep myself busy!

Thanks for your reaction, love Evergrey, love this tune also, specially the lyrics and the solos, the coming album will be a new masterpiece!!! 🖤🤘

I agree, that quality tops quantity. But it is characteristic of certain genres to have them.
