Honestly the “beauty” side of UA-cam has reached its peak. We’re all on the same wavelength as you, we don’t worry about beauty, fashion anymore. It’s all about work, home, kids, marriage now lol. Guess we all grew up!

I'm from the UK and for some reason the idea of American kids getting British accents from Peppa Pig is the funniest thing to me 🤣. It reminds me of when every British kid in the 90s had American accents and inflections from watching Friends and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Our parents despaired 😁

I loved Blair first because she was closer to my age when I started watching, but then I discovered Elle and loved her too! I’d watch Blair do anything honestly like if she just wanted to do cleaning videos I’m down, if she wanted to show interior design I’d love it, if she just came back doing stories and we never saw her face and just heard her I’d listen 🙈🤷♀️

It’s wild that I’ve watched you for so long. I used to watch and try to imagine the life you were living in LA. Forward all these years later and having gone through secondary infertility and experiencing two loses a couple years ago, I feel like I have a deep understanding on what you are going through and I can relate to your channel so much more 🙏

Hi Elle I’m an OG viewer but never commented. if you suspect a lip or tongue tie, you may want to get James evaluated by a pediatric dentist who specializes in ties.
I’m an adult and just learned that I have a tongue tie that I need a procedure for. :)

I’m so thankful that you’ve openly discussed your infertility journey. It seems like my journey is mirroring yours in terms of going through a miscarriage then an ectopic and now, waiting for IVF to start in September. I’d really appreciate hearing what types of supplements you’re taking, and whether you intend to do genetic testing on your embryos (if you are feeling open to discussing these private decisions) etc. Thank you!

My kiddos have all had a variation of tongue and lip ties. Just know that if James truly has one, your next kids are very likely to have one too since it is almost always genetic! We went to Dr. Prather in Franklin TN (she is a preferred provider in tongue/lip ties and a pediatric dentist) and LOVED her if you are still interested in getting James looked at. She is super helpful and educated me a LOT about ties. It’s not too late to get his revised! There are many advantages to getting it revised-speech, eating, etc are all affected! 💗
You should do a video on what UA-camrs you met during your journey and who you kept in touch with and who you no longer speak with and if you were to go back in time would you do UA-cam videos again. What would you do differently if at all.

It’s so funny you should say that about American kids having British accents, because it’s the same in the UK - so many kids are adopting American-ish accents because of UA-cam and movies. We’re swapping 😂

So funny, my 10 yo daughter has a bit of an American accent because she watches a lot of American UA-camrs 😂😂😂 and she uses lots of American words and slang 😂😂😂 We’re in England by the way 😅
Private school and nanny-raised kids in South Africa also have American accents because they spend so much time in watching American kids channels on cable and UA-cam. It's really weird.
If he has an undiagnosed tongue-tie, please do get it checked out. It affects us lifelong. I couldn't breastfeed as a baby and my undiagnosed tongue-tie affected my ability to breathe, eat, sleep, speak, sing, as well as my mood, posture, tmj issues, migraines, you name it, throughout my life. I finally just had my release done in my 30s, but really it should have been done in childhood or as early as possible!

In high school I took MB quiz and was exactly 50/50 introvert extrovert. I loved performing and being a part of clubs. I'd still enjoy doing theater again but I am an extreme introvert now. I like planning a gathering with friends, (I haven't since 2019) but baking a dessert, dressing up, crafting invitations, decorating etc. I like knowing who is coming, about what time, and knowing what time it should be over or being able to rest for a few minutes makes a difference. Small groups of people I like.
I'm really impressed that you pumped for 8 months! 💜 I have a 3 month old little boy and I breastfeed, but have been building a supply of breast milk for the freezer (I needed emergency surgery 2 weeks ago to remove my appendix and my husband had to feed baby with formula for half the time I was away as I hadn't created a supply yet! 😔). Pumping is so time consuming! X

I had a similar issue with my son and breastfeeding! The doctors, LC's, etc told me the same about the lip/tongue tie thing. Luckily, I found an LC that was specially trained in ties and sent me to a pediatric dentist when my son was 4 months, which is late to find that. However, if they have a tie at all it will affect it no matter if it's "minor" or not and it needs fixed by a pediatric dentist. My milk supply did improve and so did his latch and such, but I think if it would have been caught sooner it would have made even a bigger difference!
It's so interesting that now I think of you as an "ex youtuber who's come back and makes videos" because you seem to take it a lot less seriously (in a good way), you seem too authentic to be a professional UA-camr 😂 I'm an OG viewer from when you were in your dorm! I'm loving your content now more than ever, I'm a mum now too, and find makeup and fashion so shallow right now.
Both my kids had tongue ties.. I’m not sure if it’s genetic but definitely something to keep in mind for baby 2! My first wasn’t diagnosed and treated until 4 months! 😩

My daughter had a tongue and lip tie and also couldn’t breastfeed. So many doctors and lactation consultants missed it- don’t feel bad. The whole thing is so frustrating but your son is now a healthy toddler

I dislike coffee. I could do an iced coffee but I don’t need to drink it everyday and I actually prefer green tea for caffeine bc coffee gives me jitters and the runs 🤣
