Maybe it was stolen and the insurance company paid off the owner since it wasn’t recovered within the timeframe but for these cleaner cars on copart they right theft/vandalism but I’d still do my research and even go check out the car before making a purchase
These insurance companies and auction site should be forced to disclose everything and properly document it*.
They don't, just last week I was bidding on a car the damage on Copart said "Side Damage". The photos didn't show any damage on the side, after a lot of resarch I was able to find out that the car had a lot of mechanical issues.
Yea cause it could’ve been a flood or light hail damage car or could’ve been stolen and the owner didn’t want it anymore
@@4realhill1 Yeah, I find it to be snake like activities! Anything could be wrong an we wouldn't know. It's dangerous and costly not to disclose important information especially when insurance and alot of time actions know. But HEY, profit over lives and quality IS THEIR MOTO.

😂😂 Copart specializes in insurance salvage disposal. If a car is on the site it is there for a reason. Theft recovery, flood, wrecked, undercarriage damage. It is not their job to disclose everything wrong. Been buying and repairing cars from them for 20years. Use to get great deals and make some money selling them after repair and inspection. Online bidding has made it darn near impossible to actually make a decent profit as too many buyers and ghost bids are actually running the price up.

I have the same car, the appliques on the exterior of the doors fade. It's a easy fix, most of the Cadillac dealers stock plenty of them with it being a common problem.

The screen placement is very idiotic in my opinion. If the sun shines in the middle of you’re window, you won’t be able to see the screen cause of the glare.

you take a black light to the interior? No evidence of blood or other bodily fluids i take it? I've seen cars like that that were carjacked, and once recovered the insurance had already reimbursed the owner so they sell it to make some money back from that.
