Does Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead indulge in cheat meals and alcohol?
Jay Cutler once famously said, " I don't eat for taste, I eat for function." This is an extreme example of what it takes to be a successful pro bodybuilder. Every single thing that gets put in your body matters more than the average Joe. One misstep can ruin an entire year of training. To many, this dedication seems almost inhuman. How can a bodybuilder not indulge in the occasional treat or partake in getting a nice buzz from alcohol? That's where the concept of cheat meals come in - a tactic some athletes use to indulge without ruining their physiques. But do Olympia champions partake in cheat meals? In our latest GI Exclusive interview, Chris Bumstead details his rules for cheat meals and alcohol.

Such a great interview. That's why I love this channel. Chris all the way!
This channel is garbage.
@@leonclark39 nah. You are. By commenting on this. Go back to your basement
@@stevegreene94 Oooo you’re hard.
I love how Vlad non chalantly asks about Logan Franklin knowing DAMN WELL Logan is constantly trying to start shit with Bumstead, but man Chris had the classiest response. What a gent. We don't deserve this man as a champion
This video is before that, they said "logan franklin who just won the NY pro".
@@Culterin he was talking shit way before the NY pro
Ik vlad is known to do shit like thay
Such a nice and down-to-earth guy with a bright future ahead of him 🙏
His humbleness makes me his fan ❤️
I love how down to earth this guy is. Not gonna lie the way the interviewer asks the questions would rub me the wrong way. Hes got that vitaly vibe
you're here for 3:17
Thanks
tennku😩😂
Winnie the Pooh has Eeyore, and bodybuilding media has Vlad.
Wow🏆 the champ is coming
He had a ton of McDonalds after the Olympia and was hogging on cookies in Mexico, our champ has started having cheat meals again.
And on prep he's eating 1,800 kcal 🤣🤣
THE CHAMP IS HERE
Happiness is a performance enhancing drug.💟
Great video. Cbum is goal physique
Great video
Well that kid chris train with this year worked he looked so impressive
Yes sir
At least I have the not drinking part down, now if I can just not eat 5k calories of Mexican food I should get pretty shredded
If I could manage to eat 5000 calories of anything I'd get pretty big
@@prstation1363 you mean fat? Right.
Vodka as no fat try it
@@SubZero-kb1ir no he means big
one of the nice guys
Logan Franklin is a nice guy, glad a similar physique is on the rise (he’s like a mini version of Chris) ❤️
Leg day (after meal 1 on cheat day) and cardio and a large calorie deficit (The day after cheat day) for us natty's
I like his attitude. And he's right: bodybuilding is fun for him and you do what you think is fun. I find I have a lot of fun in the gym lifting weights and bodybuilding
Same then again I grew up punching myself in the face every time I failed at something
He doesn’t take anything too serious and he’s best in the world… imagine if he did take things “too serious” 😮💨😮💨😮💨
If you don't speak english you might think CBum is interviewing this guy
Why interviewer looks so angry 😡
He's russian
Just how his face sits.
Steroid rage
because of the lighting and it's probably night outside or the evening (tiredness)
Because he's a natty who thinks is hard core not to have fun in the gym except he looks like shit anyway
If I weigh more I'm obese, will I gain muscles faster doing pushups since I weight alot?
Learn to count macros
Why Vlad is so serious? As if he is a school principal 😂
He has a condition known as “down syndrome”
3.20 minutes where its at
3:20
Thanks
I don’t touch hard liqour anymore. It’s a waste of time, money, and your health. If you stay away from liqour, and maybe have a beer or two on the weekends. You can have a great physique. To have an incredible physique you can’t drink at all. Alcohol really slows your metabolism and wrecks the anabolic process.
Oh not a big fan of your arms.. but damn are u the sweetest most humble and classy guy! Good luck brotha!!
what lmao
No hard feelings but can they change vlad and put someone else as the interviewer for Interviews
We really need to retrain our minds to what we consider enjoyable! as much as I love a few beers it is very sad the one of the most damaging substances more damaging than heroin in scientific reality is the most mainstream.
I was hoping for the post workout carb surge excuse. Nothing big, just Like 5 or 6 double IPAs.
horrible audio... improve that
Number 3!!
Makes you rethink your life and control.....
He looks like, very stylish version of Connor Murphy
Who?
Chris is cool but wtf is a vodka water?
“Calum Von Amateur body with a pro card” will never be on this level
Lol he was better than CB before his injuries hater
@MARCUS SLADKOVA are you?? You're actually a crackhead or a casual to think otherwise
It’s not a cheat meal if there are rules 😂
I eat mostly clean foods I like sugar free drinks and sugar free condiments I've tried craft beers and german beer warsteiner bitburger is my fave german beer
Try Krombacher, it's nicer than Warsteiner and Bitburger
@@ragnarbluechip8795 This is true!
CHAMP CHAMP
"One misstep can ruin an entire year of training" That's such bullshit though
It is at the elite level.
That mentality is true discipline.
@@Horus-Lupercal Not really, one misstep a year can make the final result slightly less optimal (although it's impossible to see or measure), but it certainly doesn't RUIN a year of training. Perhaps great to think that way if you are afraid to make a misstep, but doesn't make it true. Even Dorian Yates made missteps in 1993, did it ruin his year of training?
Ask Von Moger about 1 miss step... It can happen
@@chriscook3984 Von Mogen Had more than 1 misstep tho... I really like him but he was out partying, doing dangerous and stupid stuff and paid the price for it. Don't get me wrong, you should do fun stuff and all that since there is more to life than just training. But the bicep injury was kinda stupid on his behalve
Talk up dude
Two adds at the beginning of a video is greedy. Do something about it or else.
Interviewer is so sleepy.
Boring af
I had to check my settings to see if it was on 1/2 speed.
What's on your neck man. I want to laugh:)
Don’t laugh, he is part of Russian Mafia.
@@Polandsyndromebodybuilding Now it makes perfect sense.
Dude is on 💉🤣 don’t matter how much he cheats or drinks
Not a fan of his pony tail tho... But nastyy physique, the best!
whose pony tail?
@@MokshBatra chris', my friend
@@franciscoantao3794 I’m confused bro. What pony tail???
@@MokshBatra he has a pony tail in his hair. In some old training videos from the time of this interview you can see that he uses a man bun
Man he doesnt have a hair bum stupid. U clearly dont follow him. His hair is just standing up from the back here and looks like a ponytail.
i just smoke weed lol. have had good results
I wish
Alcohol?
4:05am.
Legs.
This guy cries himself to sleep every night
Least charismatic, totally monotonous and highly repetitive interviewer. CBum seems super nice though.
