I can see Chloe taking over the channel or making her own channel when she gets old. They remind me of me and my dad. We use 2 do that a lot when I was a kid. Now, I’m having 2 cook 4 him; and the rest of my family; at least 3-4 times a week. It’s recipes that he taught me, some that I found online and some that I came up w/.
This is pretty similar in concept to a Scottish delicacy, the "Macaroni Pie". It's like a Scotch pie but it's filled with macaroni cheese instead of minced beef, and no pastry layer on top. And it's not like deep-fried Mars Bars that nobody actually eats, macaroni pies are a Greggs staple.
Popular at the football too. My own club, Ross County, do a bunch of nice pies (my meat eating friends rave about the Haggis pie) but the Macaroni Pie is exquisite.
Still, I kinda wish we had deep-fried Mars bars down here. I had some when I went to Ireland about 15 years ago, and it was delightfully devilish. Not something to have frequently by any measure, but as a super-occasional treat I'd totally go for it.
The only thing I might have done extra would have been.. when cooking the dough & you brushed it with olive oil, I would have gone one step further & brushed it with garlic & herbs to make the pizza base like garlic bread with Mac & cheese on top 😋
Don't forget Phoebe too! She's also amazing and it's a shame she doesn't seem to be in many videos now. Would love to see the whole family do some videos together. Hi Barry and Chloe! The telletubbies was written by a lady called Anne wood and was filmed and produced by Ragdoll productions. Ragdoll also made may a famous kids tv shows like Brum, rosie and jim and tots tv.. even in the night garden. They partnered with overseas investors animators HGX (thing i got that right) about 12 years ago. My late father was a camera man on some of thier sets in the late 1980s early 1990s, a work colleague a rabbit/animal handler on the original set of telitubies. Was a fan of the animated 1990s TMNT more over the modern one! A great family video. Thankyou 😃
@6:47 - FYI, cheddar doesn't get "whiter" as it ages. The "orange" in the cheese comes from the producer adding coloring (usually annatto) to the cheese. People who care for aged, more developed-flavor cheeses tend not to care about the color, so they don't bother trying to change the milky-white color.
I used to work at a pizza place, and we made a spaghetti pizza. You half baked your crust with butter and garlic on it. Then added your already boiled spaghetti noodles, any meat or veg you want, then your marinara and cheese. Then sent it through the pizza oven again.

Y'know, the whole Ninja Turtles thing started as a parody of Daredevil and the X-Men, with the Foot Clan being sort of a parody of The Hand, and Splinter being a parody of the blind sensei Stick. But even as a parody, it exploded in popularity, and in terms of recognition it probably surpasses Daredevil by this point. Carbalicious, dudes! The only improvement I think could be done to this is probably adding some meatballs, and maybe a light drizzle of marinara.
I bought this book for my nephews after this episode. It is probably their favorite gift I've ever gotten them. They use it almost every week for family pizza night.
So, fun fact about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the original comicbook was meant to be a parody of the "edgy" superhero trend in the 80s, as the creators found it ridiculous that concepts like Batman and Spider-Man were being made so serious compared to their earlier incarnations, so they slapped together the most ridiculous concept they could think of but made the comic super edgy, and making them ninjas seemed the perfect way to do that. Some of the characters from the comics are even direct parodies of characters from Marvel comics (for instance The Foot Clan are a reference to a group called "The Hand", and Splinter is a reference to a martial arts master called "Stick"). Some of the edgy parts of the comic were heavily toned down in the 80s animated series, but one of the comic's original creators was involved in the 2000s reboot, which kept several elements from the comics like April being a computer engineer rather than a news reporter, and The Shredder having killed Splinter's master, etc. but they kept some of the things from the 80s show, mostly in Michaelangelo (since he is the party dude) who still loves pizza and comics and stuff.
What I love about these recipes more than what is cooked you and your daughter spending time together cooking. I have the best memories of baking on a, Sunday morning with my favourite Auntie's mum... My Auntie will be 80 in Jan lives, nearly 600 miles, away but we talk and email weekly and often laugh about the baking. My daughter will be 31 at Christmas and now, married her husband delighted as one if our favourite things was, cooking and baking together her memories are full of fine smells and good food and there is, never a mistake just a new recipe lol. Your daughter will have wonderful memories of her time with you.
There's a restaurant here in America (I think a lot of them have shut down sadly) all you can eat pizza and stuff for $6 which is a great deal! They have a Mac and cheese pizza. So this is giving crazy Cicis pizza vibes lol

For mac and cheese to maintain a good texture, many recipes will use american cheese or velveeta because they use a special stabilizer (you can also just buy that stabilizer and use a little bit) and it keeps it from getting gummy after cooling.
My mum always made macaroni cheese with chopped fried bacon and sliced tomato on top, then covered it in cheese and baked it till the cheese went gold and bubbly 😋

I got this book and made that sauce and it is _bangin'!_ I want to try that chilli chocolate sauce, might use ancho paste instead of chipotle as it's milder and less likely to blow my head off, and there's a few others I'm eager to try too.

If you want an extra little boost to your mac and cheese, add a little bit of mustard powder to the sauce. Not very much, but a little bit really complements the cheese and won't make you say "that tastes like mustard" at all.

fyi, with any fermentation (even with dough) there's some alcohol formation. But it gets cooked out in the oven.

I got a copy of that book for Christmas, and I think I might have gained 5 pounds as soon as I found out that they have a mac n cheese pizza.

I wonder if you put garlic butter on the base if it would step it up another notch as I would normally have garlic bread with mac n cheese
