    Good strong Review Neil actually better than most sneaker you tube dudes 🌟 . The other colour is Green .. which I have. I also have the Premium ISHOD Wair 1 .. I’m no skater . Just a collector , I went with white rope laces . Yours would suit white too . I used Armor All on the base .. suede brush and trimmed the loose stitching .. I have 100 + sneakers 👟 .. TRY the NIKE GT Hustle 2.0 for comfort .. swap the insole with the original ISHOD

      Thanks 😉 I never bought the Ishod 1 as they looked a little slim for my liking and the toebox protection didnt look quite as layered or strong (I bash my toes way too much skateboarding so always look for multi layer toe boxes). Its a shame they didnt include more laces with these because SB's usually do, but yes i agree white laces would look good. thanks for the recomendation on the GT Hustle, I'll take a look. and thanks for checking out the video 👍

    I am not an Nike SB guy but these have caught my eye. I also thought they looked a bit mid in size. So your on foot was helpful.
    Bottomline, it is a good looking shoe. I may not get it early but down the road i will probably pick up a pair.
    It is hard for me to leave my go to shoe. I have been stuck on one shoe so long it is almost a mental chalytontry others.

      Glad you found it useful to see, it’s always great when you find something you like if you can stick to them as along as possible, that why it’s a real shame that a lot of shoes are quite limited runs because just when you find what you like they may no longer be available.
      To get around that for as long as possible I often buy 2 or 3 pairs of the ones I really like , but then often my mood or wish list of features evolves with my skating. Most of the time I buy shoes that I like the look of whether I plan to skate them or not.

      @@NeilHesterSkateboarding I have been on the Tyshawn's for 4 years and always have 2 or 3 pairs ready. I oddly have a hard time tossing out the old ones too. I have tried a few others most have not made it through the session. The Cons Fastbreaks are good but not as durable or supportive but skate very well.

      @AdventuresInSkateboarding cool, I looked at them after you mentioned them to me before but they don’t look like they have enough toe protection on top for me when knee sliding.
      I’ve smashed up my big toe nails too much so I now need some significant protection on top like the stitching bumper that theses ishods have.

    Great video Neil, I’ve been intrigued by these shoes. Like you I love the design but I’ve found Nike SBs to be pretty hit and miss for me. Maybe if I can pick them up once the price drops I’ll give them a whirl.

      Cheers mate, yeah Nike SB’s are definitely hit and miss, I like blazers and dunks but not come across anything else that I’m super impressed by yet and these are the first ones I’ve seen that don’t have the awful zoom airbag insoles that have to be replaced with something decent every single time.

    • @KieranClarkSkates
      @KieranClarkSkates 7 місяців тому +1

      @@NeilHesterSkateboarding yeah the zoom insoles are trash. I’m currently skating the force 58s, it’s basically a budget dunk. Been pretty good so far but it’s early days.

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  7 місяців тому +1

      @@KieranClarkSkates yeah I always switch them out for footprints, I looked at the 58’s but read so much about them being uncomfortable I didn’t pull the trigger but I guess that’s always subjective.

    • @KieranClarkSkates
      @KieranClarkSkates 7 місяців тому +1

      @@NeilHesterSkateboarding That’s fair, Ive not found them uncomfortable but they definitely wouldn’t provide the support your after. They’ve been fine in my flatground sessions but I’ve not tested them with any real impact.

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  7 місяців тому +1

      @KieranClarkSkates yeah it’s really hard to find people talking about shoe comfort other than street skating or stair set jumping and the most common thing covered when talking about skate shoes is board feel, which I never have a problem with in any shoe. So I end up having to buy and try.

    If impact protection is your main thing you should check out these insoles this other youtuber makes they're called the do more skateboarding insole he makes skater laces too they're super rip resistant they're called xtendedwear if I remember correctly

      Thanks yeah someone has mentioned them to me before but I couldn’t get them to be sent to the UK but to be honest I’m happy with the footprint ones I use.

    Nice looking shoes… very different from what you usually wear.
    The isoles looks impressive but not my type of shoes as well.

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  7 місяців тому

      Certanly different from what i usually wear to skate but i have about 30 pairs of shoes in all and I do like 90's basketball styles in general which these reminded me of. AlsoI'm always keen to try out anything that appears to be designed with sole impact protection in mind as that's a huge requirement for me in a skate shoe.

    Airs are so ugly to me. I'll be rocking the first Ishods till they're discontinued or the third model comes out
